Mine hears me cracking the ice cube tray and comes running cause he KNOWS something will fall on the floor. I'm sure he would chase a big cube if I dropped it for him, this is how much joy he takes in it! What other odd things does your cat do?

For added enjoyment (both the cat's and your's) roll the cube in catnip first!

My fiance' and I call it "Playing Computer". My cat finds it so fascinating when one or both of us are building, updating, or taking apart the actual hardware in a computer. She'll sit there and supervise us to make sure we aren't "making any mistakes" and will occasionally come over and inspect what we're doing. In all honesty though this is really bad because if a static shock (which could come from my furry friend) were to hit certain pieces of hardware it could burn them out.

She also is always stealing my hair-ties. If I take my hair out of a ponytail and leave the tie on the counter it'll be gone by the time I come back for it. I usually find where she stashes them about once a month. Last month they were under the scale. Cats are so funny.

I have never tried it with my cat, but I'm sure she would be interested in batting and chasing an ice cube. I may try it.

My dog likes ice cubes in his water. He also keeps wanting to go out to eat snow. That is making us crazy because we are never sure if he really has to go or is tricking us to eat more snow. Don't let your cat out if it is snowing!

Haha. Thats how cats are. They are very curious animals. They will play with anything. I remember once i was eating pancakes. I accidentally dropped a piece of pancake on the floor and the cat played with it. Then he ate it.

With ours as a kid I used to tie a piece of plastic shopping bag to a fishing rod (with no hook of course),put it around furniture and over the couch, down to hall, and reel it in as fast as possible, the speed at which they move and jump through the air, amazing.
They get winded soon though.
