Well...my husband is a pest control person for a living and he sets live traps with the food that the rodent or animal likes to eat and waits. You might catch a few things that you dont want but try to research what they like. Something to catch their attention. Like something sweet that they like that they can smell and cannot resist! Good luck.

I don't know, but one time I saved a chipmunk out of my friends pool. IT was swimming around dog paddle style with it's little head up. So I ran and got the skimmer net and got the chimpmunk out and put him on dry land. He panted and panted a while, then he looked at me and I actually pet him for a minute, then he ran away. (this was 10 years ago)

Its probably best if you contacted a Local Animal Control Center or the police. You shouldn't try to get the animal yourself because it could be diseased or dangerous.

Sounds like he made his home up there. They are a tricky group, if you can't stand it maybe call in a wildlife person to try and get it for you.

Have you called animal control and asked them for help? This is where I would start.

Mothballs spread under it will keep most pests out.
