Can my cat get pregnant when she's not in heat?

Actually, cats never truly come out of heat. Their heat cycle waxes and wanes and when you may think it's safe and she's out of heat, actually she's not and so, yes, therefore can become pregnant. Cats heat cycles will actually last until the become pregnant or spayed. Best to have them spayed ASAP. With millions of cats being euthanized every year, please call your vet and make an appointment ASAP.

A cat isn't like a dog. You can't always tell when they're in heat.

No,but neither will she have sex if not in heat,unlike people they don't do it just for fun !!
