Cats like to bite toes. It is a fact of life and part of the fun of owning a cat. If you want him to stop, however, just keep a spray bottle full of water next to your bed stand and when the cat starts nibbling, give him a good shot in the face with the stream turned on to sniper mode. After a while he'll stop if you are consistent with the punishment, and he'll even get to the point where he'll run just at the sight of the bottle. As an added bonus, yell "HEY!!" every time you spray him and he'll run away whenever you make that noise, just in case you need him to stop doing something else.

Sounds like he is trying to make sure you are going to get up. It's kind of funny actually unless he's hurting you. If so, you can clip the ends off his claws. Be careful to just get the ends and not the pinkish part of the claw cause this contains a vein and kitty could bleed.

This may sound weird but sometimes cats don't understand that feet under the covers are feet and they're attached to your body. They just think it's a little animal to pounce on for their enjoyment. Try putting your hand under a small throw rug or blanket and move it around really quick while your cat watches. He'll think it's a mouse or something and will try and attack it.

HI I had a cat that used to bite mine and my family's feet in a morning. Mainly he did this because he was happy to see us and also because he was hungry. He wasnt trying to eat our feet he was just letting us know. He also did this when he was playing. Cats like to play fight especialy this cat so again your cat may just be play fighting. Your cat will never actualy do you any damage unless he or she rely wanted to and believe me you would know about it, you won't have any feet left ha. I gfyou don't like this then ever time yourcat goes for your feet crab his mouth away and shout at him or her it will soon get the message and should stop. If not good luck.

My cats does the same thing every morning and if i don't wake up she scratches my feet! She does it only to me because i wake up half an hour earlier than my husband and also she does it only on weekdays, on sundays she never comes to wake me up. Long story short, she's smart enough to learn my daily routine, i think you have a smart cat too :)

Typical morning behavior for many cats! I live alone, yet my cat jumps up on the bed in the a.m. and nibbles at my toes OR begins to walk up and down me until I am awake [ at least awake enough for his satisfaction!]

He's playing with you, darling. My cat does the same thing. He sees you moving your feet (of maybe just sees you) and pounces on them for fun. Isn't that why we have feet, so cats can play with them? Seriously, if it bothers you that much, let him sleep somewhere else. But he's just having fun with you.

Hope this helps.

It's bored and wants to play. I shut the cats out of my room. I'd have to at least kick the cat off the bed
