Make sure that you keep them combed or brushed,as they will not ingest as much hair when they groom themselves. You can also feed a good food that helps to prevent hairballs. Also you can get something from your vet to give them for hairballs. Long haired cats are more likely to have this problem.

There are numerous hairball formula cat foods out there to prevent hairballs or you can use a hairball "goo" (I use Hartz Hairball Remedy for my cats and one tube costs about $5 and lasts for a couple months).

To stop your cat from having hairballs get a cat brush from your local pet shop and and brush it daily.This will get rid of any loose hair and stop your cat from having hairballs.

brush them, give them anti-hairball remedies..you can buy them at any pet store or vets office. You can also use Petroleum Jelly, just put a little on your fingers or the cats nose and they will lick it off. This will help them pass the hairballs.

try to brush your cat frequently. there are also special cat foods for hairball problems. good luck!

brush them daily, that way instead of licking the hair of when you take it off with a brush so when is going to lick it self then no hair will come out.

or just get a half wet towel and rub it carefully, since cats lick them selves to stay clean the just clean them your self.be sure to dry its hair with the other half.

its going to happen sometimes, because cats lick themselves but if you brush them they wont get as much in their mouth when they lick
