Could there be something wrong with his chemistry? When my cat peed on him, it was right after we had started seeing each other, so I thought it was jealousy. But two more animals. Weird!

My kitty hurt her front paw. She was limping and wouldn't let me see it so I took her to the vet. He looked at it (said one of the others must have bitten her-it had a little blood) and gave her some antibiotics. As soon as we got back home, she was running all over the place and feeling fine. Do you think she was faking for attention or what?

He was with his old family for three years before they got new puppies and decided to get rid of him. Now he won't come out of hiding. I know it's normal, but I'm worried. Anything to coax him out? Food doesn't seem to work. What should I do?

I have called pet hotels, but my kittens dont have verified shots by the veternarians.So they wont take them.Even though my husband has bought animal shotsAnd my friends with animals wont do it either?Any other ideas.I love my cats.

Why are there some people who are on here so rude? People just want to ask a question and some people answer like they are stupid. It's just a question. A lot of the so called vet techs are especially rude. Got any credentials? Do you treat your customers so rudely when they ask questions at the vet? Geez!

I just adopted a new one year old kitty from the shelter today. I have two dogs and two cats already, and I am afraid that they will not get along. Right now, the kitty is in a big cage in the living room so that she can get used to the environment. But as soon as my dogs went over to the cage, the cat started hissing and raising his back. Is there any hope for them to get along? My dogs would not hurt him, but I am afraid that he will scratch or bite them. Any suggestions?

she was in constant season and would try her hardest to get outside well one day about 4/5 weeks ago she managed it (may i add that we live in a second floor flat !!! extreme lengths for a bit of rumpy pumpy dontcha think) and since then she hasnt had a single amorous "episode" she spends a lot more time sleeping and is eating a lot more than she normally does although the last may be due to the sudden growth spurt she seems to have gone through shes 26 weeks old and not yet spayed her belly seems a little swollen too but only so you dont know unless you look for it pls only answer if u know what your talking about!!!

I recently adopted a kitten to keep my older cat (6 years) company while I was involved in my masters degree program. The kitten is about 5 to 6 months old now, and I fear that I may have taken her off kitten food too quickly. She and my older cat began eating the same purina indoor cat formula shortly after I adopted her 2 to months ago. The kitten has a horrible gas problem, but when I tried to reintroduce her to kitten food, she refuses. Now my older cat eats her kitten food, while she eats the indoor purina.

Any suggestions?

My cat went into heat last wednesday night, and we went out of town friday. When we got back on sunday, she was no longer howling/whining like she's in heat. We had someone taking care of our animals while we were gone, and I forgot to mention to keep my female cat inside. Could her heat just be done with, or do you think that she's pregnant?

My kitten (5mths old), has started to move her food and water bowls with her paw(s). Although they are placed on a non-slip mat, she forces them off, sometimes turning them completely over! At first I thought she was perhaps thinking she was still in her litter box, and trying to 'cover' them lol. It seems rather a strange thing for her to start doing. She enjoys all the food I give her - so it cannot be some kind of protest!!

Any suggestions?

He has been hiding in the basement for over a week and has lost quite a bit of weight. Not eating to much or drinking and is still using the litterbox. Cries when he is picked up. Seems to have rapid breathing. Help.

Today, I noticed a cat, sitting alone, warming herself up...on a heater like thing on the ground beside my place. She was licking herself, then she just stayed still, sitting in that cat pose...and slightly closed her eyes. Then she looked here and there... Is she thinking something? :) Well, I just felt like going and hugging her, and giving her some company :).

My cat pees on the couch. Its a boy but he never did this until we moved into a new house that was already furnished. To our knowledge there has never been another cat on this couch and our cat dosn't pee anywhere else but his litter box and this one spot on the couch. what should I do? Sprays don't work and I don't know why he has started doing this
