Today, I noticed a cat, sitting alone, warming herself up...on a heater like thing on the ground beside my place. She was licking herself, then she just stayed still, sitting in that cat pose...and slightly closed her eyes. Then she looked here and there... Is she thinking something? :) Well, I just felt like going and hugging her, and giving her some company :).

Certainly! Have you ever laughed at a cat when they didn't mean to be funny? OH BOY! You do NOT want to know what they are thinking -about YOU!!!

They reason too, and you can't reason without thinking. I once heard of a cat who watched another cat jump through a hoop to get a treat, then it itself proceeded to do the same, though it had not recieved any training at all!

The answer is a clear, emphatic YES!!!

Well animals can communicate between eachother, so I bet they can think. There probably thinking the same about humans.

Human- Can cats think?
Cat- Can those big things think? Boy oh boy they sure do have big feet.

Oh sorry..got caught up in the moment lol.

Can you think? Well so can they!!
Cats are very smart and they know how to keep themselves alive so if they couldn't think they would be dead.
Go and read about cats on the web cause I think people getting animals they don't know about shouldn't have them as you need to know all the signs of a sick, healthy, crazy cat.

Cats are mysterious creatures, we cant really figure them out. Its best to leave it that way and not misjudge them.

Yes, they can think, all animals can, otherwise they couldnt adapt to humans or live at all.

In fact, thats whats so baffling, they may or may not be as intelligant as humans, but they do show signs of intelligant actions/thoughts.

Of course animals think!

Not the way we do, but thank goodness for that. I've never heard of an animal yet that started a war.

They have brains and remember things so therefore they must be able to think. I always wonder what they are thinking about, especially the cats.

Sure they think. Just put something that makes a sound in a box with a small hole and watch your cat try to figure out how to get it out. They have opinions about a lot of things. They couldn't have an opinion if they didn't think.

Awww cute! Well I think animals do think because how do you think they close there eyes when you thikn they are just about to hit them? They maybe THOUGHT that you were going to hurt the kitten so then it CLOSED its eyes!

Well [most] animals have functioning brains, therefore they're able to think. Of course, they don't plan out their days like us silly humans. They don't think "Oh, she just stepped on my paw, now I'm going to gnaw off her finger while she's sleeping."
