There were three kittens in the pen when I went to the RSPCA. 2 are 12 week old brother and sister (boy and girl) and the other is a 6 week (girl). The boy and girl were abandoned and have had no human contact. They are extremely shy and I am gradually getting closer to them where as the little girl is extremely boystrous. Every time the two shy kittens go anywhere near the other one she hisses at them and occasionally swipes at them. Will this eventually change and is there anything I can do do to encourage them to be friends? The brother and sister are very close and I just want the little one to be the same

I think her tummy feels bigger and fuller than usual and she keeps wanting to go out. when in she just lies about and sleeps all the time and is not interested in her toys as before!!

My make cat (fixed so can't be the dad) shadows her and doesn't like them to be parted!

PLEASE HELP - I can't really afford the vet unless it is really likley!

...and it's 1:00am here now, and she just text messaged me: she's down at the pub, and she'll be home by 2:15am.

She's clearly loaded; it was more like "i am at th pub c u l8r lik 2.15 ok lv u."

Should I make a big deal out of it when she comes home, or would that just encourage her to go out like that more often?

I've _told_ her all about the dangers of stray toms, and she just doesn't listen. She's spayed, but she thinks that's a license to be a good-time kitten.

She might be mad at me, though. Her adopted brother was neutered today, and now he's got the bedroom -- and might even be sleeping in her bed. She acted like it was no big thing. I said "Sophie, I really appreciate you letting Max have the bedroom for the moment. You're a very good kitty for being so understanding." She was pretty quiet about it, though.

How can I talk to her about this? Do you think she's mad at me? Or do you just find the drinking inexcusable?

I answered a ad on Craigslist to care for a ladies cat, she is in between houses, we went to pick her up because she has no car, so I felt bad, she provided food, litter, cat treats and stuff, and asked me how much does she owe me, I felt bad to even take money but she said ok heres 10 and you decide what to do with the 10, its between you and God, buy a homeless food or buy little kids ice cream?? She comes once a week to visit the cat, how much is reasonable? My husband keeps telling me I need to ask her for money, Please advice??

We have a live animal trap and tomarrow i plan to catch these cats! There are two adult cats and two kittens i found behind my church. The two kittens are tinny but they can run around and eat solid food. I have only seen the adult cat once and the other many times. She(i think) is tinny also and is a gray tabby. She came CLOSE to me then ran off. Dec 9 at my SPCA they are having a free spay day. The two kittens i am keeping and the adults if they are to wild will be relesed after there spaying/netuer and there shots. Where they live now they have a small creek and a dumpster. I have examined where they live and they have dug holes almost like tunnels where they sleep at night. What should i put in the traps, and how should i handle these caats till the ninth. Iwill keep them in a spare bathroom...... ANY HELP !!!!!!THANKS

My cat stays mainly indoors and is a healthy weight. He's eight (nearly nine) now and i don't want him to die. We're closer than you'd think. He's helped me through some tough times and i just don't want him to go. He's really part of the family now and i get a little sad when i see a few gray hairs shining through his coat. I've looked after him since he was a kitten (after he was abused by his previous owner) and we're like best buddies, he always sleeps on my bed at night and even smiles at me (no matter how strange that sounds).

Just tell me the average lifespan for the type of cat i described (mainly indoors cat) and what you think was the longest living cat - if you would. Thanks.

It's a damn shame it's inevitable he'll be visiting the end before i, but i'll cherish the time i have left with him.

My cat is 15 years old. He has been fixed, all his shots up to date and a indoor cat only. 5 days ago, he started acting slugish, Sat and Sunday started coughing and acting like he was choking, not eating. Took him to the vet first thing Monday morning, had blood work done, no problems other than "a virus". All he does is sleep, still losing weight, not drinking water now. Took him back to the vet this evening, different vet in the same office says "virus" I'm worried, poor old guy looks horrible and you can tell he is miserable. Is there a cat virus going around?

About a month ago my 5yr. cat messed in the floor and when i cleaned it up i saw it had blood in it. When i took her to the vet he didn't think it was anything to worry about and he found out she had Pneumonia, and she is better now. And the other day i was clean the litter box and she had blood in it again.

My family had a cat (Adult male Cat 15+), he was resting on top of the TV, a friend got in his face and started baby talking to him "Oh.. What a pretty kitty.." then He did not like it and he bit him on his nose, hard. The bite did not break his skin, just a little red.

I adopted an adult male cat 12 months ago. He's in very good health and he does eat well. The weird thing is he simply doesn't eat any treats I get for him. He eats only the dry cat food I get him. This isn't bad for him, but I'd still like to know why he won't eat any treats. Thanks!
