ok i might be able to help...i kno a lady whos cat had kittens..she sed she didnt want the kittens in her house n if nobody took them she was gonna throw them in the street n she didnt care if they had died....so i told her that i wanted 1 n my aunt wanted 1 also....these kittens where ony 6 days old and if they would leave their mother at that age everybody thought they would die...but no here is what i did n it worked....i got a eye dropper and some milk and i fed my kitten with an eye dropper until she was able to eat on her own...i had 2 get a little rough because she didnt kno how 2 drink from the eye dropper so i held her mouth open n squeezed a little bit in at a time it actually worked...my cat is 2 years old now n she is a healthy cat....but as far as the mother cat...the vet didnt say that she is going to die...he sed that she cant take care of them..but ask the vet if he thinks the cat will die if he ays no then....then i guess u have some kittens on the way...if he say yea then maybe u should get her an abortion or whatever it is they do for the cats...but i dnt think she will die...so when she gives birth she might lay next to them and maybe she will get the hang of it but if not u should do the eye dropper thing and make sure they are comfortable and warm and u watch them...i think could help u....good luck

She probably won't die. When she goes into labor, take her to the vet though as an emergency, just to stay safe. Stay calm. It's fine. When the kittens are born and if she doesn't nurse, you can get kitten formula and feed the kittens every three hours or so by hand. Also discuss with the vet about when you should get her spayed after the litter has come, to prevent future babies.

((My friend once took in a stray, then the cat got into the problem with a male. The cat was young, but the kittens came fine. She still has one))

It depends on you really .Your cat will probably live through the birth.I would suggest that you take her to the vet when shes having the kittens though. That is safest since they are prepared for any emergencies that come up.Then if the kittens do live and she can't take care of them,it is up to you to be their "mommy"I've done this before, and it's not easy. You have to get dropper-like bottles(from the vet) and feed them every 3 hours just like a real baby,Sometimes they won't drink easily cause they dont know how.You have to be patient, but very consistent. If youre not, they will die. This is a hard decision to make.I love cat's,I have 5.One of them was one that had been abandoned, and it really made me feel special to know that this cat would not be here today if it were'nt for me!Remember, think very hard, this is a big responsibility. If you love your cat and want to help her enough then yyou CAN DO IT! Goodluck

Just wait and see what happens. There are a lot of homeless cats that deal with this all the time and make it thru. Even if you have to care for them a little... will it bother you? My husband and I had to care for 4 new kittens after his cat gave birth because she had to have a Cesarean section. Yes! It happens to about 10% of cats and it happened to us! $300.00 to have them born as she would not go into labor. We had to tube feed them every four hours!! We lost one but the Vet said that would good considering most lose more than that because the kittens don't get their mother's milk and nutrients. She finally took them after maybe a week and it was the best time of our life!! Oh, by the way, she wouldn't take them because she didn't give birth "naturally" the Vet said. The hormones didn't kick in and she didn't want care for them. Just relax and see what happens. It just may end up working out fine.

My cat also got pregnant when she was very young. My roommates cat had kittens and we didn't realize that after just a few short weeks, they were already breeding.

My cat is perfectly healthy and did not die from the pain. Youvet is correct that she may not care for them correctly. My cat was not a good mother. I had to put her in the kitten box all the time so she woudl nurse and I ended up buying kitten milk from the pet aisle and bottle feeding (they sell the bottles too) the kittens myself (there were 3 of them). They were also very hard to litter train since "mommy cat" wanted nothing to do wtih them. Ask your vet for suggestions

It's true, a vet can abort the kittens while preforming a spay. Yes, they usually charge extra for the abort.
Your cat may be young, but I really doubt she will die or not be able to take care of her kittens. Most cat's can have kittens by the time they are 9 months old.

Before i answer you question i just want to know why you guys didnt spraying the cat ???? I dont want to sound mean or anything but that would have been the SMART thing to do...SPRAYING ur cat!!!! But then theres people that arent smart and they basically have to face this situation that you guys are facing...because you guys didnt care enough to take that extra step of spraying your cat.

Anyway to answer your question:

Well if the vet said that the cat is too young to care for the kittens then you should ask the Vet what other options do you have? I checked up on this and this is what i came on:

How "far along" is the cat's pregnancy? Although early and mid-term spay and abortion of pregnant cats is common, late-term abortion is generally not done. If this is your own cat, you can estimate by the date of her last "heat." Otherwise, a veterinarian can estimate the term for you.

So basically find out what stages of pregnancy she's in...and act accordingly.

If your cat was old enouglh to get pregnant, she is likely old enough to take care of the ktittens. This has been going on for a long time without human help. Give her support and try to find a good home for the kittens.

she got harrassed ? come on you either did not keep an eye on your kitty while she was in heat. A male cat does not go after a female not in heat. or you did not know she was in heat.
I would say fix her now. sorry but fixing her was what should have happened earlier in her life. this will cause her to lose the babys but you have to decide the chance of losing her all together or doing what is better for her. \
you can have the kitties cared to term and if she can notdeliever them you can have a cecerian (sorry spelling) section. Yes I had a cat who had this done.

A cat normally wont go into heat before they can get pregnant. She may be young (I dont know how young of course). I do know that to a certain extent a vet can spay a cat pregnant for an extra fee.
