my next door neighbor has about 12 or 13 cats (they used to have 28). they use my yard for a toilet. i can't stand the smell of pee and poop everywhere, in the garden, lawn, rocks around my pool, etc. then of course the males spray everything including my front door! we complained, and they got rid of some, but their females keep having kittens and they keep them...HELP>>>>>>>>>>>>>

My neighbor's cat keeps coming in my yard at night and killing birds to leave me with the mess. I don't want to touch that!!!! Also, I have little kids and am afraid of the germs that it is leaving.

Also, I don't know whose cat it is.

Any real suggestions?

There is a black cat the I always see around our neighborhood, she's kind of "the friendly-neighborhood cat" because she's very sweet and social. This cat doesn't have a collar, but we never really thought it was homeless because it has a nice shiny coat, is definately overweight, and has a little spay pooch. I'm just worried now because it's getting obviously very cold outside, and I don't want her to freeze to death. I gave her some food tonight and she seemed very hungry--and everytime she visits and I go back in the house she always want to come in with me. So I don't know; I don't want to take her to an animal shelter and worry her owners if she has any, but I don't want her to die, she's such a sweet cat. What should I do?

My friend's cat had kittens and I might get one....

What should I name it? Give me boy and girl names... I don't know what gender it will be. I have a cat named Midnight.... should I do the same theme?

She is now able to jump up to it from the floor. My concern is that I have the new style stoves with the burners under the surface. The cook top stays hot for a while after using it. I don't want her to get burned. I have tried squirting her and putting her in her crate after she does this, but she won't stop.

Hi, I have two male cats and can't afford to take them to the vet to get nutered. Does anyone know of a safe way to nuter them yourself?
One of the cats is an outside barn cat and the other one is about three months old and is in the house. I know the three month old will start spraying and I don't want that! Also, I don't want thenm wandering off to find females to have more kittens. Thank you for any information. I tried the animal shelter and human society, but all they have is a reduced spay and nuter program..forty five dollars
for males and sixty five for females. Any information would be helpful, and please no sarcastic or stupid answers, this is a legit question.

A stranger came to the house today for inspections and my 10 month old kitten freaked out. He would run away scared whenever he was in the same room. I tried to hold him but he clawed me so hard that my back is bleeding. So I put him in the garage.

Now the stranger is gone but he is still acting weird. I went in the garage to bring him back in but he wouldn't come out of hiding. Then I finally get him and he wouldn't get back in the house. Now that he's in the house, he's walking around like a security guard checking an empty warehouse. He won't even touch his favorite food.

My 4 month old kitten didn't freak out at all, just sat there on the couch and played as the stranger looked around the house.

So is my kitty strange or what?

Why does my cat binge and purge. He doesn't do this all the time, but sometimes after he eats he vomits, then goes back for more food two or three times.

Okay, my kitten is 4 months and he's an orange tabby. Like pretty much every kitten by the time they reach their first month, they have blue eyes. After a month, my kitten naturally started changing his eyecolor from blue to amber. I just noticed today that the middle of his eyecolor is green, something I never saw after his eyecolor change. Can it be that I just didn't notice and he had it all along or is it normal for a cat to totally change their eyecolor again later on before they reach a year?

The cats are getting on a bit and we find that one in particular tends to sleep near the radiators or on top of the TV. Thought we would treat her for Christmas. Any recommendations, and from where?
