You could wait til you get it and let it inspire you. Here are some of our inspirations:
We had a cat one time and we named it Mikey because the markings on his head was an M.
We named our black cat Stardust because she had white hairs intersperse throughout her fur. The white hairs fell out but we had ended up calling her Dusty instead of her full name.
We named the red tabby (orange colored) that adopted us, Copper because he was copper-colored.
We named one cat Patches because she was white with tabby patches.
I'm not sure why we named Mr. Murry his name, but it seemed to fit him. And he was the cat that liked to get in people's cars at the church and go home with them. That might be how he came up missing! He was the church cat and stayed outside. We don't leave our cats outside and that is one reason why.
We also had a cat we named K.C. standing for "Kitty Cat".
We did not name Ulysses, because he had that name when we adopted him, but we should have changed his name to Smudge because he has a light smudge on his side that looks like he has rubbing on something dirty or greasy. I realized that it was not really dirt after we had been calling him Ulysses for so long that he already knew his name.

I would live with the cat for a week first and see if it exibits any behavior that inspires a name. Since you have a cat already, I like the sound of Midnight and Valentino. (I think it was a movie title. Valentina if it's a girl.)

My 10 year old daughter says to name it Sunshine if it is a girl.
If it's a boy, name him Malakai (pronounced like the character in the Van Helsing movie).

i like it when its a diff. theme...
it depends on the color - but really many names can be both genders..
if its orange then tiger or tigger
redish it can be licorice (im not exactly sure how to spell that)
i happen to LOVE the name Newton (if its a boy)
i have a cat and i call him either "senior wiskers" or "el gato" (which means can in spanish) -- i dont really speak spanish, but i think its cute

although, dont rush into giving it a name, let it earn its name, like you couldnt call a kitten "cheeky", if all it did was sleep all day
