Make sure you don't have him around any other cats!!!
This can be very contagious. Ihave had a cute little female cat, adopted through a cattery. so had all shots and was okay until we got in our car and brought her home she started sneezing in the car. This is the last of May, now it is Dec. We and the Vet have tried all antibiotics. It seems like (ORBAX) is the only one that helps her. Some cats get over this and some don't ,but live normal lives. Just look on the internet, enter: cat-(sneezing) ,sneezing cat, cat illnesses, cat diseases, etc. You will find a lot of good info. Please, don't give up on the little one, just work with your VET. Over the counter meds you can use are children's Bynedril, use just a half of a teaspoon, because this stuff is safe ,but it will put her to sleep fast. Expect her to salivate a little after you give it to her. It's normal ,its just real bitter tasting to a cat. it will stop slobbering shortly. Hope this helps, i know what your going through. I have 5 cats and a big dog.

What antibiotic are you giving him? This sounds like an upper respitory infection, but antibiotics should have cleared that up by now. You really need to take him back to the vet to see what's going on. It sounds like there could be something more serious if antibiotics are not helping or it could be allergies or asthma. It is not normal for cats to sneeze - it means there is something wrong.

Lots of good ideas about the vet. Maybe I can explain it in a way people can relate.
Sometimes when people get a cold, the first antibiotic isn't strong enough. While they are taking it, it seems they are getting better, but, when they stop, they get sick again. The doctor gives a different antibiotic or does a culture and sensitivity test to see what the bacteria is and what antibiotics it is sensitive to.
Same with animals. Your cat may need a stronger antibiotic. If you call the vet who gave you the first stuff and tell him, he might let you come in and pick up a different medicine.

Of course I don't know what kind of a residence you live in, but my cat had a sneezing problem also and it was due to my living accommodations. I'd moved into an older trailer that hadn't been rented out for a few years. The washer had leaked in the past, getting the floorboards damp, in turn rotting the linoleum - causing mould - dangerous to the health! My cat's sneezing stopped when the linoleum was torn up, the floorboards scrubbed with a disinfectant, allowed to dry before laying new linoleum. That was over 1½ years ago, he hasn't sneezed since.
