I have two kittens, the only ones my mom would let me keep of the litter. And for some reason, they REFUSE to use the litter box. And they're inside cats. So, needless to say my mom is very angry. And it's at the point where she is threatening to take them away too. SO please, can someone tell me how to get these cute creatures to save their fate and learn to use the litter box? Please. I love these kittens.

Does anyone know what I should do, what to look for or how I can make him feel better. In the last 4 monthes he's done this only three or four times. I know this is nauseating but it is the same color (dark mustard or yellow) and has a chalky feel to it. He has been eating dry food so maybe that's it but I really would like to know how I can make him feel better. Thanks to all!!

Ok, we've got a long-haired cat, and we let her come in our house, and also go outside when she wants. Her happy medium is the garage. (I live in Michigan, and it's snowing, and the temp is usually 19-35 degrees outside around now...) At night we've been keeping our cat in our cold garage, and she wants to come in, but we don't usually let her come inside at night. Is is a good idea to let her in the house to be safe? Is there an unsafe temperature for cats? Would it be helpful if I went out in the garage, and got the temperature out there so you guys have reference to build off of? Thanks!

I am reluctant to get rid of my cat. The problem is that I am recently married. My cat HATES my wife. I'm serious. And the wife doesn't care for the cat either. I mean, the cat does things just to annoy her because ever since she's lived her, my wife won't let the cat on the furniture anymore. Now the cat does things just to piss her off, such as rubbing her fur on my wife's pillow, tracking cat litter onto her side of the bed (not mine), and jumping up on her computer desk just to knock things over.

I guess my question is, do any of you guys want a cat?

My cat keeps using the house instead of the litterbox (she uses that too). It is not a medical issue. She will use my bed, the carpet, clean laundry. I have not changed types of litterbox or litter, there are less animals in the house now, and less kids in the house now (as well as less stress). I have used Feliway (with success), but can't afford to purchase it on an on-going basis, nor do I feel that I should have to (I work for a vet so I get it at a discounted price) . My cat is only 8 1/2 years old and the only other option that I can think of is to have her put to sleep, but I don't want to do that. I also don't want to place her in a new home and take a chance of the same thing happening there.

My cat has a broken rear leg and is scheduled for the op tomorrow. The problem is 6 or 7 weeks ago it tore a tendon in the other leg and up until breaking its leg was still not strong enough in that leg to support itself.

I assume the cat keeps falling off walls or buildings. Will its legs eventually grow strong again?

He likes to play with paper towel rolls and it ticks me right off when he tears them up (as you can imagine)

Anyone know a good Cat toy that will satisfy his need to tear up my paper towels?

He doesn't get the rolls on the counter - only the ones that get left in the floor when I'm windex-ing or something.

She is only about 7 weeks old, all black. She's a bombay breed. Very energetic and curious, just as all kittens are. Any good ideas?

Just fostered these two adorable black kitties for 5 weeks, they stole my heart, the house feels so empty! I can't adopt them because I will be moving a lot next year, out of country. I wished there were other kittens to foster to replace them but I have to wait till Wednsday. They were getting spayed and neutered today, I am afraid they will suffer in those cages with other kitties, will they share the food with them?
I can't stop crying thinking about them!

She hasn't eaten or drunk for four days, and has been sick twice; no diarrhoea. She will take water from a pipete, she wont even lick yoghurt off her paws. Vet today gave antibiotics, antisickness injection and painkillers, going back tomorrow. He thinks she may have swallowed something - he seemed to imply this would be serious, I'm now really worried. Has anyone had anythign like this happen??
