Does anyone know what I should do, what to look for or how I can make him feel better. In the last 4 monthes he's done this only three or four times. I know this is nauseating but it is the same color (dark mustard or yellow) and has a chalky feel to it. He has been eating dry food so maybe that's it but I really would like to know how I can make him feel better. Thanks to all!!

Cats do get hairballs, but they also need canned food. A diet of dry food is not healthy for cats. You could do some research, or ask your vet. Cats just can't drink enough water to keep up with the demands that dry food places on their bodies. Especially the males, end up with urinary tract problems.

If you haven't had your cat wormed, I would suggest you take a poop sample to the vet to have him see what might be needed. Not all wormers work on all kinds of worms.

Your problem could be a combination of diet and worms. I've heard of cats vomiting because they had a urinary tract infection. If his isn't having problems using the litterbox, then I would investigate the diet.

Probably is the dry cat food that is upsetting his stomach though, try some wet food and see how that affects him. I know certain kitty treats make one of my cats vomit and it is a dark yellow colour.
We have different foods for our different cats and they are different ages. Some cats can eat certain things and others can`t.
I think you should take him to the vet to make sure he has no worms when he gets all his first year shots. He`ll have to get his shots anyway before they neuter him.

My kitten was doing the same thing for two days. We found out it was the food she was eating. The food might be bad that your giving him. Also you can't just change the food you have to give him a little bit everyday til he used it . I have my kitten on Purina Kitten Chow (til he is 1year then you can change the food). Here is the site if you want to know to know more.

3 or 4 times in 4 months is not a cause for alarm.Cats throw up and it is normal as long as it does not become more frequent or have blood in it.I still would have her checked by a vet and although this is gross I would bring a sample to the vet so he/she can analyze it.GOOD LUCK

Are you using clumpy kitty litter?. clumpy kitty litter is deadly to any cat under the age of 1-2years. when they use the kitty litter box they will clean themselves afterward. which in turn will eat some of the kitty litter. The clumpy kitty litter is like clay. it builds up in the intestines and clogs them. Prevents them absorbing the nutrients see a vet asap! you risk the kittens live. go now.

Did you just recently switch to that food? Are there any other symptoms; not being as frisky as usual, not having an appetite, etc.? Could possibly be worms, could be worse.
