My female Golden Retriever had a c-section last January, after the first day she was fine and took care of her pups. You just have to keep a good eye on her and the kittens for the first 24 hours to make sure they are eating and that she don't do something to them. Then after that you have to watch her incision for infection keep it dry and clean. If you see green it is infection my female got staff infection. Good luck it is alot of worry!

I have had 3 cats that had cesarens and all kittens lived, i gave them lots of tlc, feed her as normal but if she asks for food give it to her. the only problem i encoutered where when the kittens were suckling your girl might feel uncomfortable because of the stitches but my cats grinned and beared they were excellent and they are between 15-12 years old now and going strong.

I am SURE the vet will tell you everything, and that is the advice that you should follow!!!
I would never leave my pet overnight after a c-section. They should go right home after so someone can watch the mom and babies.
