To Marge - I care to know because that's what I like to use this site for. And asking curious questions like that is what a lot of people use this site for.

To Andrea - It's a reasonable question. Cats are crazy and I was curious HOW crazy peoples' cats can be. I know my cats vary in craziness. I wanted to know if others' did too.

Shasta-tuxedo-7
Smokey-Russian Blue mix-9
Dixie-Maine Coon mix-7
Cornbread-orange tabby-1
Shasta does weird things like have a ritual to go out the door. Smokey has a thing for boxes and catnip and sometimes chases his tail till he gets dizzy. Dixie has to be in the middle of everything that goes on. She likes to pick fight with the others. Cornbread is just laid back. He watches the others crazy behavior like he's glad it's not him.

Ebony (see pic) varies according to mood but can be anything from 3 to 10! When I call her the whole neighbourhood can see this wonderful ball of black fluff flying through the air at top speed as she races home over fences and sheds! She also has funny little habits like shaking her two front paws before and after going outside. She is adorable!

Well, I just asked them and they want me to tell you that they are quite sane. They are fun loving and are sure that humans aren't smart enough to understand all the things they do, but all the same, there is a perfectly logical reason for them doing what they do.
Quite frankly, they asked that I get away from the computer, unless I want to play the game where they can try to catch the things that fall down the screen, and open some cat cans, scoop some litterboxes, and get out the catnip. So, I am off for a bit.
Have fun all.

i have 7 cats but I will only give you my craziest one that definetly rates a 20! her name is Spook and she is an indoor cat while cooking she will climb up our legs and backs and sit on our shoulders until we give her a little bit of what we are cooking and if she doesn't get it fast enough she will race down the back across the hall and take a running leap from mid kitchen and attack the buttocks region. Oh did I mentioned she's spoiled rotten my husband started by feeding her scraps while he was cooking so now she feels she is entitled.

Zeke (orange and white Maine Coon) - 1
Molly (calico Maine Coon) - 5
Buddy (mixed breed) - 5
Zeke is a bit overweight, 27#, but being a Maine Coon, he can be.
My cats aren't wild hooligans, but several times a week they will all of a sudden start attacking each other and running around the house. They bounce off walls, furniture, us, swat at each other, meow and hiss and then just as quick as it started, it will stop and they will all fall asleep. Pretty crazy.

Fauna (4 month old grey and white tabby)-10
she steals things from all over the apartment and will try and hide them if you don't catch her. Anything she can grab, she will take. She tried to even take my cell phone once. It was funny seeing her try to grab the phone by the antennae. When that didn't work, she tried dragging it.
