Tika gets a cool present every year...last year I gave her two Boots and Barkley 'purr padds' and a set of cat-face feeding bowls.
What are some cool presents you or your family have gotten for the family pet?

Yes they do. They get a cat safe tree to cliimb and play with and are always disappointed when it disappears. They get new toys. They get some of the meat for the special dinner. They are part of the family and its their holiday too.

All our pets have their own stockings every year for Christmas, even the chickens. Our St. Bernard is getting a rabbit (food, not a little friend), a large cow leg bone, tons of treats, a Saint-sized dog bed, a new collar and leash, and alot of nice new toys.

Our two kittens are getting new collars, yummy treats, a glove for me to wear with long fingers and pompoms (FUN!), and alot of balls and fluffy toys that they love so much, and a new cat-tree that has extentions-thingys that run all over the house two feet down from the ceiling.

Our Parakeets are getting a big bag of grapes and some millet.

Our bunnies are getting some Alfalfa hay, some wooden chewing blocks, and a new hutch.

The chickens are getting a new coop, and some veggies.

The animal lovers in my family (there's 2 of them) always include the pets of family members in their Christmas gifts list. My two cats always get treats and toys on Christmas. This year, I bought them a cat enclosure for when they want to stay outdoors for a bit (when its not raining. But the enclosure still needs some work - I plan to put in cat tunnels and cat mock trees to perch in and plenty of grass, etc. Maybe a water a fountain. You see, I don"t beleive in spoiling one's pets!!!

Only if they've been nice! Since it gets cold around here at about Christmastime, they usually get new blankets (old ones are worn out after a year) and sometimes other things they need (like carriers). But mostly, they get to play with all the shipping boxes, ribbons, crinkly paper I use for wrapping other people's gifts--that seems to make them real happy. They get gifts all year 'round anyway (and they live with me so everyday is Christmas for them).

I have two dogs and a cat and they each have a stocking hung up on the fireplace and they get stocking stuffers like treats, new collars or leashes, things like that and then we sometimes get them new things for under that tree if tehy need something.. like for the dogs we sometimes get them new dog beds and for the cat a new climbing tree or litter box- for dogs its cool to get one of those stocking shaped things that are filled with toys.. they arent that expensive and they last a long time
