That's all I know. Apparently the babies are not related to the older 1 year old.

The same hummingbird everyday flies in and destroys his web. Same bird, same web. The daddy long legs rebuilds, the next day the bird flies in and tears it up with his wings. Why would a hummingbird behave this way? At last count, I've witnessed this happen 8 times.

I have two birds ( a boy and a girl ) they got into a fight already and it looked like a murder. they are both ok, but we split them up and now they seem to want to be together. Should we let them in the same cage again? or should i just keep them in seperate cages? Oh yeah, and the male seems to try to fly in his cage and tries to get out/to the other bird. He is getting the floor full of feathers. Should I take him to a vet or someone to check this out? Or should i just leave it go?

I saw a bunch of birds outside my window on the branches of the tree that are so close to my house I can grab them if I reach out of my window. At first I thought they were crows, but as I looked closer they were shorter and fatter, more round. As I looked even closer, they had deep turquoise blue heads, almost as dark as the black. They were very beautiful. I also saw one with the same colored head, but with a bright orange stripe on each of his wings. There were tons of them, around 20 or 30 birds! I live in Orange County, NY ; if that helps at all. I would like to know the species of these birds, please!

We have had our 10 yr. old umbrella cockatoo Sammy for about a year and he has adjusted very well to his new home. We recently took him to the vet. He did very well at the vet office however transporting him was traumatic. We used a pet carrier such as one you would use for a cat or dog. It had plenty of light and we talked to him the whole time but he was very frightened. Unfortunately Sammy was not raised to go outside at all. It took a few days for him to want anything to do with us again and still he is somewhat hesitant at times. We are moving to a new home soon and I fear this will traumatize him worse. We love him so much... please help. thank you

I have a 1 year old female cockatiel that loves cheese. I do know it is important for them to have calcium in their diet. She has cuttle bones and I do try to introduce her to all kinds of fruits and veggies. She does not like veggies and eats little bits of fruit but cheese is her favorite. What I want to know is if dairy products are good for her. She is a picky eater. I do only feed her cheese in small quantities but I cannot take it out of my fridge without her right there trying to eat some.

ok i have 2 parakeets, one is mine and the other is my sisters. everytime i go by her cage she starts attacking me.(or trying to at least) i don't think that she likes me at all but i try to be as nice as i can to her. i sing to her ,talk to her, take her out and hangout with her. but she is always so aggresive to me and well everyone else too. why do you think she acts this way? by the way the birds are in seperate cages to pervent breeding.
