i am not sure what to do with this cute little bird. I have been letting him rest it. He does come out of his house to eat and drink but is very placid. I had one of my other birds attack him so I moved him into a cage all by himself and he is doing much better. What would a vet do even if his leg was broken? We are concerned and would appreciate any help you can offer.

I have an african grey, I have had him about 2 years now. I got him from an older lady, a friend of mine, and she told me he was 4 years old then, but she bought him when he was tiny, and never held him, and he will bend stainless steel feeders and try to take a persons finger off, he has a very large vocabulary, and is cool, but you better keep fingers totally away. I s there anyway to tame him down, or anything I can do to keep him from being soo mean? I have seen this bird bite through a leather glove like it was a piece of paper. Any suggestions will be appreciated.........

my cockateil has a cold. i'm giving it some antibiotic in his water. (ornacycline) will this help or do i need to take it on to the vet. is there any thing else i can do because i don't have the money to take it to the vet. need help very worried about him. he has ruffled feathers and a sneeze one time and he acts cold. and wants the best place to find out about birds cockatiels i'm just learning about them first time owner

I have this white-blue budgie, who seemed to be getting comfortable in my home, but for some reasons, she is just not interested in her toys. I am very worried that she will get so bored that she'll starting having behavioral problems. What should I do? Get her a friend? Keep looking for that perfect toy? What should I do?

Also, I bought my budgie at the pet store. Is that any reason as to why she doesn't play with her toys?

We have found a pigeon or a Dove because I do not know one from the other and it is tagged. It has a CU2005 and then another four digit number behind it and I can't find out how I would get in touch with it's owner. The bird appears in good health but does not seems to be able to fly. Could this tag mean that he has an owner that I could contact? The bird was found in Peterborough ON area. Any info on this would be really helpful. If you know who to call or where to check this please let me know. Thanks!!!

can you please tell me the steps or what happens that leads to birth.....i think my parakeet is pregnant, she is crying and is at the bottom of the cage.the male seems like he's trying to help. i threw in tissue to see if she would make her own nest but it seems like she is in too much pain she walks around the cage floor trying to leave the cage.should i let her out? if i should where should i put her?HELP!!!

she keeps crying i throw in tissue to see if she wants 2 make a nest, and she keeps crying and tries 2 get out of the cage. should i let her out? if so, where do i place her? i got them less than a month ago,i didnt expect babies so soon.so are they babies?if so, y wont she make the nest with the tissue i gave her?
