I have looked on the web to see where the Titmouse birds go and they show all back east. I live in Northern California and I see them in my backyard eating wild bird seed. They are cool looking. Have you seen any in your backyard?

Well, I brought home an ultrasonic pest repellent today to get rid of mosquitos and cocroaches. But I also have a parrot at home and I am afraid if the pest repellent could cause any harm to it.

Could somebody help ?

My parakeet has just started looking a little disheveled on his head and a couple days later seems to be getting a bald spot above his cere. He is not scratching or acting abnormal in anyway. He is my only bird and I have had to leave him during the day alone, which is new to him. That is the only difference I can think of. Any advice, suggestions, answers??? Thanks

I have two budgies one is a girl and one is a boy. The girl bites whenever i put my hand in the cage and her bites hurt a lot so i' afraid of bringing my hand close to her. but i talk to her a lot and i try to hold her as much as possible. Same as my boy bord he doesn't bite but he's very afraid of my hand and i try to hold him but he flys away from me and i also talk to him a lot it doesn't work. I've also tried feeding them some millet spray with my hand but it still doesn't work. What should I do?

For the 2 years I have my tiels I fed them mixed seeds and a year later bird soil which one of them loves. They also have a cuttlebone and fresh green veggies everyday. I've tried everything recomended, but so far they still only eat the soil, mixed seeds and green veggie leaves. The first time she laid eggs the eggs they didnt hatch. Now they have 5 eggs with posstive signs. I worry that she doesn't get enough nutrition to supply the coming chicks. I've tried many things including warming up the whole corn from the can and boiled egg yolk and various fruits. No luck. Please help.

I am looking for hatching eggs of heavy chickens (brown egg layers), guinea fowl and turkeys. Does anyone have any experience by sending them over long distance? I moved to the Philippines. If you have hatching eggs, please let me know. thanks

my son wants to buy a cockatiel to add to our flock of 3.The bird he has picked is a 8 week old hand reared, the only thing is ,it is extremely fat to the point where it wobbles when it walks,I checked its food bowl it contained only sunflower seed. Mine eat a small parrot mix which has a little sunflower in it and buk choy, apple ,carrot everyday with the occasional cracker as a treat they all maintain the streamline shape that they should have.So my question is will we expect any health problems with this bird? Will putting it on the same diet as mine reduce its weight safely?and what if it is not willing to eat what my other birds eat ?
