and it is white with lots of feathers with feathered feet. It doesn't look like your average pigeon and doesn't seem scared, he gets really close. Are there normal pigeons that look like this or does he belong to someone?

We lost our budgie on December 10th in Melbourne, Australia. He's mainly white, with a blue belly, and has some grey areas as well, and is hand-tamed. We all miss him so much :(

I have looked around on google on how to make my own parakeet website but can't find anything. I have learned a lot about parakeets since i have one and thought it would be fun to be able to answer any questions someone has. Does anyone know how to make a free parakeet website?

Is it possible for a parakeet to not be able to lay an egg, and then have the egg become stuck inside it? If so what would cause this?

Bought my new baby cockateel from pet store,it turened out she wasnt even weened so we payed for specalist help, she spent 4 weeks going from being hand fead and sleeping on hot water bottle, to feeding herself and sleeping on her perch.
and after 4 long weeks she was well enough to come home :)
we own a adult cockatil as well and at first things werent so bad, except on the first night when the birds were being put in the dinning room where its more quiet at there bed time "Both birds" went into "panick mode" flapping around there cages just because the new bird was brought out first? since then we move both birds into the dinningroom at the same time,
my question is how can i bond with my new bird as she seems to becoming more paniky "rather than carm"? she will eat from my hand so shes not scared ov me,but my adult teel starts scwaking and she joins him in panick mode, how can i carm her???

I've had it for 3 days and I put 3 toys in there, a mirror, a bobble head plastic parakeet, and a ladder. It only likes to exercise and eat and sing. And it hasn't drank water for 3 days. Is this normal?

What is for starters? How do you tame them? How do you tell if it is a boy or a girl? How long should I wait to take it out of its cage? How long does a parakeet take to get used to a new home?

It's nuts. I've only had him for maybe 2 days and I am completely in love with it. It's sooo lovable. It wants to sit on my shoulder and hang out with me. I've already taught it to gives kisses. And it makes the kisses noise and then touches my lips. It's so cute. If I say step up it steps on my finger. I can hold my finger 3-4 inches from it. I can say let's go for a ride and it'll hop on my shoulder. I'm not imagining this. My hubby is jealous of the little birdy lol. Am I imagining this? Oh and it LOVES it's little head to be scratched. It'll put it's head down for me to keep scratching. It eats out of my hand to. The only thing is that it doesn't make any noises except for the kissing sound. No whistles, no singing. It's very very quiet. Will this change?
