They cost around $850-$1200. It depends on the breeder. I strongly recommend buying from a breeder because most hand raise their birds, allowing you to handle them easily once they get used to you.

Don't purchase a baby, there are many in rescues that need forever homes. Check petfinder.com.

Can be as little as $500.00 to $1800.00. Just depends on your area.

Just be sure you are buying a fully weaned baby. Do NOT buy a unweaned baby!

Good luck on your search!

i have 2 african grey. they are gret birds. i have seen them cost anywhere from $700.00 to a thousand dollars. it all depends if you get it from a breeder or a pet shop. either way if you get one take it to the vet before you take it home, just to make sure you have a healthy bird. thats what i did with mine
