I've had it for 3 days and I put 3 toys in there, a mirror, a bobble head plastic parakeet, and a ladder. It only likes to exercise and eat and sing. And it hasn't drank water for 3 days. Is this normal?

You've only had it for 3 days so far, give him time. Maybe he's not used to the toys yet. And if he is still alive and seems happy, I'm sure he's happy..........and drinking. I remember I had a turtle and I would put fish in his water for him to eat. I had never seen him eat them, but, they were disappearing one at a time....lol!

The parakeet should be drinking water or it will not live. Maybe it drinks when you're not looking. If it's not drinking water, it will start looking lethargic (sleepy and very tired and sick looking). Try giving the bird a bath (slightly cool or room temp. water) and try to put water in the birds mouth.
Get rid of the bobble head plastic parakeet from the cage and get rid of the mirror too. The mirror can go in later when you know for sure the bird is drinking water. If you want the bird to want to be with you like a close pet, no mirrors or plastic birds.
Anyways, just find out for sure if the bird's drinking water. Spy on your bird from time to time. Pay close attention. Good Luck.

Sometimes birds lose interest in their toys. This is normal. But about the water-how long has it been since stopped drinking? If it's been more than 3 or 4 days, you should consult a vet.

We have two and we have had them for 5 days. They did the same thing. They wouldn't come down to eat or drink for about 3 days. I would hand feed them and give them water. It will come around. They have to get use to their surroundings. Mine are jumping around, playing, tweeting, and eating now. Keep an eye out though.

No, I don't think this is normal. Try putting its water somewhere else, and make sure it's clean all the time. I recommend calling a veterinarian to pinpoint the problem.

your parakeet probably drinks it's water when your not in there because it is not completely used to you yet, it is also not used to its toys yet. dont worry, before long you will think you have a completely different parakeet.

If you just got the bird, it is normal for the bird to get use to his/her new home. The most important sign is that your bird is lonely. If he/she is alone and taken from his/her nesthome, then most likely it is lonely. I would advice you to have a happy bird to purchase another one. This will cure the lonliness. BUT if you get another bird, make sure you do not have two females. They will bicker and bicker. Two males get along great. And one female and one male is ideal. I firmly believe your bird is lonely.
