two of my birds look like they are kissing and since they have started this behavior they will not let the third bird come near them

the male will get up on the females back and hold on tightly after the dancing around and foreplay. he will usually shake his tale feathers back and forth. if they haven't done this they may just not want to be bothered my another bird.

Hon, when (if) those 2 birds start mating you are going to know about it! They're little exhibitionists you know - not at all shy. If you want babies go to a pet store & get them a nest with nesting material. But I hope you have a good sized cage for them. I do feel sorry for the 3rd bird who could probably use a friend of its own.

Sounds like some sort of bonding thing or like, a little parakeet cult.

Look for eggs possibly?

i say if there doing that to go buy a nest at the pets store because u don't want yoke on the floor do u.

put a nesting box in the cage just in case they are. so she has some place to lay the eggs.

If they nesting box starts shaking... or if u hear yelling.
