I own a female canary and a male parakeet. They share the sane cage and the male keet constantly makes sexual advances toward the beautiful female canary but she doesnt want any part of it. Lately the keep has turned aggresive. Would they ever mate? What kind of bird would their babies be?.

i have a small cage that i used for my parakeet that died a couple of days ago. I want to get something different, but still kinda cheap. They need to be friendly and able to be happy without a partner.

Also would burning candles and other smelly things be harmful to the birds?

As a gift, I got a parakeet for Christmas.
I am thrilled that I finally own one. I've wanted one for as long as I can remember. However, I have stumble upon the same problem I always encounter whenever I get a new pet. I have no clue what to name it. But, that's where you come in. If you can, I would like to hear any cool and unique parakeet name off the top of your head. No research necessary. My parakeet is blue and green with a little bit of yellow on it's head.

Thank you for taking your time to read and answer my question. Please do not make a mockery out of me or my question as this is a legit question.

Also, how can I teach my bird how to talk and how can I tell whether it's a boy or a girl?

Thanks again.

My blue & gold was born in May '06. She (?) seems to be having about 5 or 6 spots on her chest where you can see the down feathers, the yellow feathers are missing. There are a couple more spots every day. It's not all the way down to her bare chest. Is this molting or plucking?

Because all birds are sitting on the top of everybody's statue and littering and spoiling. They are scared of sitting and littering Mahatma Ghandi's statue. It is simple why?

My dad has the flu (like every winter), and I keep my parakeet's cage in the living room, as it's the biggest room in the house. And that's where my dad spends most of his time. Now, my dad usually gets better fast, but is he a danger factor for the bird?

I have backyard chickens, 3 hens and a recent one turned out to be a male. Live in the burbs with close neighbors. He is beautiful but starting to be noisey all day. I would like to keep him if there is a medical procedure to silence him, that would be more humane than him on the dinner table

i love my birds so much, they are better than any human. whenever i am feeling down they are the only souls around to make me feel better. my social life is pretty much nonexistent, so when my parents suggest the idea of spending christmas day without the birds, i choose to stay at home with my birds instead of being with my family.
these birds are an integral part of my life and it's hard enough going to work without them

I have four baby cockatiels. The oldest one is 6 days old, the second and the third one is about 5 days old and the last one is about 3 days old. The chicks are doing fine and they are being fed by their parents. But, the babies yellow feathers are not fluffy. Instead, they are kind of rough and kind of stuck to the chick. I have been giving them cooked rice. Do you know why their "suppose to-be" fluffy feather not so fluffy?
