Because all birds are sitting on the top of everybody's statue and littering and spoiling. They are scared of sitting and littering Mahatma Ghandi's statue. It is simple why?

Let me tell that you are a quite keen observer.I think it is so cuz when the britishers ruled India they used to kill animals (INCLUDING THEM) and eat them.Gandhiji had quite a large hand in driving them out so when they see Gandhiji's statue maybe they leave it as a mark of respect.

Coz hes got a staff with him to whack the birds and also his shiny head would be impossible for any bird to sit on, they will just slide off wahahaha!

its so simple there was two points
first one Gandhi had no hair on his head so head is very soft then the birds were not lying on his head
other one is he had long stick to beat the birds.

On all other statue they find some rough space, but on MG's statue has no hair so they are probably slip down.............
