Sammie may be glad to have the new friend. But remember, THINGS could go astray. Like people, they need to be watched for changes in character. I would suggest you seperate them IF & WHEN no one is at home.`

Yes this is fine. Quakers are pack birds and live with many other quakers as well with other animals in the wild. Just keep an eye on them incase Gabby tries to take over one of Sammie's favorite item (s), because Quakers are extremely territorial and will fight to get the item back. Other than that yes it is perfectly fine for Sammie to bond with Gabby, (just make sure they don't breed if they are opposite sexes).

Since quarantine is out the window (you should always separate your birds for I say at least 72 hours before introducing them because of disease and sickness), I would say that's fine.

However, just remember that birds tend to bond with one mate. If you want to be that mate, then you need to separate them. If it's cool with you that the bird bonds with another bird and not you, then it's fine if you have them together.

Sounds like they're getting along great!

My biggest concern would be the transmission of disease. Gabby may be carrying something that will not show up for several days. Always quarantine new birds in separate spaces for up to 10 days.

Perhaps there is a strong attraction between the two. They may end up mating in the future. I don't understand why you presented a desperate "help!!!!" for a good occurrence. Have a tweet Christmas.

Why the worry-it's fine that they are ok together. Birds live in communal settings-you know, flocks.
