how can you tell between a ring-rose parakeet and a Indian ring-necked parakeet??

Its actually a Rose-ringed Parakeet, and its the same bird as an Indian Ringneck Parakeet. There are different names for birds in different countries. Also people who keep pet birds sometimes have different names than bird watchers. That is the case with this bird. Birders call them Rose-ringed, bird breeders/pet owners usually call them Indian Ringnecks. Either way, they are beautiful! I raised them for a number of years.

There is no difference. Rose Ring Parakeets are the species and then there are 4 sub-species. African>>
Asian>>indian ring neck.
So, under Asian you have indian ring neck. So, the they are the same and you can tell what kind of ring neck they are by location only! These birds where first bred by the people of India at least 3,000 years ago, and color mutations of Rose-ringed parakeets were also bred.

I don't know what you are talking about, I have never heard of a 'ring rose' parakeet. A ringnecked parakeet is a medium sized bird, and after they go thru their first molt then the ring starts to show.

Birds pluck either because they are bored, depressed or they are sick. I recommend spending more time with it if you haven't. Some birds need a lot of interaction to be happy. It might help to research if there are any common reasons for your specific bird species to pluck feathers.
