because you put this in the "pets" section and not the "dining" section, I assume you're talking about any bird's nest, and in that case, I have no idea what you might even mean.
However, if you're talking about swallow's nest, the Chinese delicacy made from a rare swallow's nest, you can either serve it as a savory soup or an apperatiff in sugar water with other things to make it a sort of congee.

twigs, dry grass, straws, cotton, feathers, maybe throw in sum broken glass and electric wires(crows do that).
