I am looking on buying a parrot or parrotlet, I would prefer to get the parrotlet bcause they are smaller and cheaper, but can they be trained to talk?
Also does anyone know of any reputable breeders or pet shops where I can purchase one in the Berkshire area.
Thanks

my family managed to bury him but told me that it is silly to feel sad about this cause after all "it was only a bird", but i really liked that bird, he even managed to crawl to were i was so he could be with me while he was dying. Has anybody here ever felt this way.

I saw a young man walking about with spiked purple hair and tie-dyed shirt and wearing colorful makeup. Then I remembered about 20 years ago I got really drunk and had sex with a parrot. Could this be my son?

Over the years I have made use of various directories to list my dogs in. I raise a variety that is popular. Lately, when going to older directories, I find they are out of business. Is the internet dyeing or just the websites. Some new ones are popping up, but they have no power yet...........Could the costs be driving breeders away? Or are the breeders no longer breeding (en-mass)?

I just got a 6 month hand raised cockatiel from a private breeder. When I was at her house the bird perched on my hand and fingers, but since I brought him home today, he tries to bite me if I put my hand in the cage, and he hasn't moved from one perch. How do I get him to trust me and allow me to bring him out of his cage? Will he eventually move around his cage?

Thanks!

I have had one male dove, and got a female companion for him today because he sings for a mate a lot. They are both ringnecks, and the female is very sweet but the male is following her trying to peck at her. He has never been like this before and they have plenty of room, food, and perching areas.
Any help would be much appreciated. She needed a good home, and both were purchased without a mate. I really dont want to return her unless she is in danger.

I've noticed since yesterday that they are pooping their seed, what is causing this? Well, I'm not exactly sure if it's all 4 of them, or if it's just 1, but I'm worried that they might be hungry!
