I've noticed since yesterday that they are pooping their seed, what is causing this? Well, I'm not exactly sure if it's all 4 of them, or if it's just 1, but I'm worried that they might be hungry!

Oh, and 2 of them can't rip pieces of lettuce, how do I sharpen their beaks?

HOW OLD ARE THE BIRDS FIRST OF ALL?
if they are young chicks, anywhere up to 8 weeks (sometimes longer) it just means that they haven't learned to crack seed properly yet and should be receiving hand feeding still.. The seed passing right through them will not be giving them any nutritional value at all and they most likely feel hungry more than usual. The same would go for the Lettuce also, they just sound too young to have developed the know how about self feeding yet.. On a side note, don't feed too much lettuce to your birds, it also has nearly no nutritional content (its mainly water) and too much will give your birds runny poops, try something like broccoli and carrot some are also partial to Capsicums but they (like the carrot) can leave red and orange stains -The darker the vegetable the better nutritionally it is for them =) ..
if your birds are young and you need help with hand feeding don't hesitate to email me..

verify the floor is surely cultivated first,in any different case if its no longer deep adequate you will finally end up with stunted birds-like midget budgies!identity attempt throwing out the leftovers from the backside of a cage, its in many situations a extra useful recipe for blended colors of birds..good-luck with this,as i in simple terms get mice!at-least you are able to practice the midget budgies to pole dance! :)

Well, I have two of my own so you should change their food and if they keep doing that, take them to a vet. To sharpen their beaks, give them cuttle bone, you can get it at any petshop.

You need to take your one bird to the vet immediatly! I am afraid it is gravely ill.
I had a bird like that....I lost it. Maybe the vet can save yours.

Good luck!

That is bad, it means something's wrong with their digestion system. please take them to an avian certified vet immediately! (find one near you here:www.aav.org/vet-lookup )
