I found a 8 wk old puppy chi, took him to the vet, told me that he has head trauma and can barely see. made an apt for a week later. During that week, the puppy had a seizure. Took him back to the vet on his scheduled appt. Informed me that his eyesight was a little better, gave him a parvo shot and told me to keep a journal of when he has the seizures & for how long. He has been whining on & off since, had a seizure everyday since the vet visit that last a min. & tonight he had two. He was hacking after his last seizure like he had a hairball. He doesn't have an appt. until 3 weeks from now. Are these getting a little excessive to wait? Any info that can help us with his condition would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if he should be living like this....

I've got a strange problem here. I recently added a peacock eel into my tank which was bare. And just yesterday, my mom bought 3 carps and intend to evict my eel. They look rather large and i fear they may hurt the eel or eat up all the food before he has a chance.

So i've planned to kill her 3 carps, but it has to look like an accident. Any suggestions? Poisoning the water is out of the question (my eel is in there!)

I have one already and want to get another...

mine:
-only barks when someone walks up my verandah
-is house trained
-doesn't bite/chew people/items
-never runs away
pretty much the perfect dog. Yesterday I met my friends dog who is also a girl and desexed- however bites, barks, can't get picked up etc.

What are my chances of getting a chihuahua pup who can learn my currents dogs 'culture'. Or does it simply come down to individual dogs personalities?

my cat will only drink from the sink when its running she will not drink from her bowl so im thinking about just getting a waterfountain for her but ppl working at petsmart tell me the fountain wont run like a sink how it runs down for my cat and i wont it to run for a while cuz she takes for ever to drink. the guy at petsmart showed me one like i was talking about but kinda pricey but if i cant find another one like that then i guess i would have to go with that..........but ummm anyone one else have any other idea for one kinda like like that but less pricey :]

I always have dry food out for my cats also I give them a little wet food in the morning and at night. My baby cat is only 11 weeks old. A few days after we first got him I made chicken and he went crazy climbing on us to get at it and when I gave him some he ate like he was ravenous, like I had been starving him. Like I said there is always food out and I see him munching lots. He does this with roast, steak, any meat he goes CRAZY for. What is going on with him? My big cat will take it or leave it. Usually he will only have a bite, but the baby seems like he would eat as much as he can get, but of course I only give him a bit. He is still small. Why is he like this???? (only have given him well cooked meat. I will never give raw!)
Help it seems so odd to me!

My 4mths pom barfed just right now. The only thing I shes eatn in her life is canidae food, and treats also human peanutbutter. I started feeding her peanutbutter in her kong yesturday, she was only fed a small amount. Her barf smelt like peanutbutter, very vibrant light brown with small kibble bits. I was wondering is it from the peanutbutter? If it is I won't feed it anymore.. it

My small dog is eating the cats food instead of his own. I want to try putting it up, like on the dryer (which would make it still available to the cats). Has anyone else had this problem? What have you tried? What has worked?

Okay well my dog sheds like a maniac, and I went to Hawaii for week with my family and my grandma stayed home, and she said he shedded a lot less when we were gone.

Is it because of the treats i give him? Because I am the one that gives him treats and such. Or is it just because no one was rubbing him? [my grandma doesnt rub him]

The Vet wants a ridiculous amount to do this for me. I can't stand to see this little friend of mine suffer any more. Aside from the bullet, is there a humane way to put him to rest. This is really rough for me. Any stupid jokes won't be received well at all. Someone please help me.

I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever.
He is approximately 100 or a couple less pounds, so he is overweight.
I feed him a Purina One Chicken and Rice Formula.
I usually give him 2 cups in the morning around 6amish and then another 2 cups 5pm or 6pm

Why is he always laying around his bowl or sitting next to where the food is?
He does eat very quickly also.
Any suggestions?
Please

I'm getting a new Siamese kitten this week and I was wondering what is the best food for them. I've heard a lot about wet vs. dry food, and corn content and raw vs. store bought. I'm so confused! I'm hoping one of you guys has kittens or has had kittens and can tell me what is best.

One of my mice had 3 babies 3 days ago, and i heard that having a "nanny" mouse was very helpful to mothers. This was this mouse's first litter and i was wondering if i should put in a "nanny" to help her. The mouse that had the babies has never been in contact with this other female mouse, though. Would this help the mother or would it makes things worse?

She died, and I keep wondering "If I took her to the vet as soon as I saw her get hit by a car, would she still be here?"

My mom did not want to take her to the vet, and by the time I managed to get to the vet, she was bleeding out of her nose..

I feel really horrible..

I have an 11 month old English Bulldog and he sheds like crazy all the time! At first I thought he was shedding in the summer just because it was hot out but it's way colder now and he sheds A LOT! Even after giving him a bath, I can see his hair just falls out. I heard that giving him an egg with his food will help control it, but I'm not sure if this will work. Any more ideas?

We found only one tick on her and want to do the 'dip' bath thing but can't afford to buy the stuff at the store. Does anyone know of a home remedy? there's got to be one out there somewhere..... Thanks
