Our friends dog lives outside in a large fenced area..He loves living outside, but he is killing so many birds... So far he has killed 5, and he brings them to her like a gift..
She doesnt want him to continue to kill all these birds, but she also doesnt want to put him on a chain..
--People have recomended that she tie the dead birds around his neck or beat him with the dead birds..but she isnt going to do that, so please dont recomend this!

Is there anything she can do to keep her dog from killing these birds?

I'm about to adopt a 2 y/o female schnauzer and I'd like to find some good relationship forming games to play with her. Also, any other tips on adopting a "pre-owned" (for lack of a better word) pup are very welcome! Thanks!!

I'm trying to build a moss wall in my aquarium. I have the suction cups, the small zip ties, and the moss already. The last thing I need is a plastic mesh. The DIY says it's available in many stores like Home Depot or Lowes. I've been to both and could only find a fiberglass or aluminum screen mesh, both are used for screen doors. I does not say on the package if it is non-toxic or not. I'm looking for the answers to the following questions.

Has anyone built a moss wall for their aquarium? If yes, where did you purchase your screen net?

Would a fiberglass screen be toxic to the fish?

I have a dog who is about 9 monthes old. She is potty trained, well behaved, and knows how to do tricks. I leave her inside all day and before I leave I pick up anything she might chew on..napkins, trash, etc. Lately she has been ripping holes in my couch cushions and pulling out the stuffing. I leave her oustide and she chews on the siding! I punish her and she just doesn't get it. She has about a thousand toys and bones to chew on. Why does she chew the couch? I want he to stop but have no idea how. I want to leave her inside but I don't want my couch to be ruined either. Help?

we had fleas back in september/october.

we havent seen any for weeks and weeks now, but were scared to run heating on incase it bring em back out

do u think it would?

SURELY they would have hatched by now on their own as its been weeks and when we first had them on dog they were multiplying WITHOUT heating as we didnt have it on but they still muliplied?

are we being ridiculously over cautious by not putting heating on??????

My 4 month old Shiba Inu is on Frontline plus and still has some fleas on him occasionally, on top of that I see that he has dry skin. When I pet him I see flakes of skin. I also am noticing that he is losing fur, maybe shedding? I know shibas shed 2 times a year...
SOOOO....would it be a good idea to take him to a dog groomer to get him professionally bathed/flea dipped to help with dry skin?
OR would it be too harsh on him to get a flea dip since he has dry skin?
Don't tell me to take him to the vet to get him checked out...he has an appointment on Friday anyways...

My 4 mos. male lab will get into his favorite spot, on the back of the couch at night, and just about when his eyes are to go completely closed he will move and wiggle around, he will do this over & over again until he finally falls asleep. It reminds me of a baby fighting sleep. Just wonder if any of you had a puppy or dog that did this.

My puppy will be under 11 pounds when I get him, which is the minimum weight to use Frontline, so what can I do to control fleas on him, other than just a bath ?

I've been bathing my kitten every other day and combing her several times daily with a metal flea comb to rid her of the fleas she had when I adopted her, but now she seems to have ear mites as well!! I've been cleaning her ears twice daily (GENTLY) with Q-Tips and baby oil, but I'm not sure if it's the right thing to be doing -- any suggestions??

We have had them for just a couple of months or so and ive noticed lately a few of them have chewed tails( if thats the right term lol) the silver dollar's is gone completely.I dont know which one is the culprit ,could it be the algae eater? Is this typical behaviour for fish and will it do them any harm? Will they grow back? Is there a specific type of fish that does this as we have a few different kinds. Sorry for all the questions lol Thanks...
