I've tried everything to get rid of it....mouse traps, sticky boxes, D-con, spray, What's next? There are droppings everywhere and the mouse is coming out during the day now.

my little chihuahua maltese mix just got her stitches out on her head. she still has a bit of a scab on her head and i forgot to ask the vet if she still needs the collar on to prevent her from scratching.
i will call them in the morning as they are closed for the night but i was just curious! what do you all think? would it be ok for her to sleep without this thing again? or could she scratch open her wound again? thanks

The Bruce cleaned up pretty well but we could not get the soap and tomato juice near his eyes and ears for any length of time without irritation. Any idea how to clean this sensitive area a little better? Also, He rubbed skunk on the carpets - suggestions on how to get that smell out?

I purchased a 4 year old gelding at the time from this stable in Thurmont NC. He is now 5 years old; I went away on Friday 11/9/07 and returned on 11/11/07 only to find this sack hanging below. Of course I was stunned and ready to pass out. After making a few calls to other horse owners I was informed that yes it is possible for him to have testicles because more than likely he was not gelded. This would explain his attitude towards other horses and short temper as well. I guess my only questions now is why would it take 5 years before his testicle dropped?? Please any answers or experiences you may have would be greatly appriciated.

I have made him as comfortable as possible and secluded him from the other cat. He is peeing in little droplets. I know it's a UTI but can't afford a Vet Bill right now. He's not bleeding and he eats just a little bit. Is it safe to give him Baby Aspirin. I made sure his blankets are clean as well as his catbox. I was thinking of giving him canned catfood without any fishmeal and adding just a little orange juice to it to make him pee easier. Am I doing the right things? Any recommendations??? I am feeling the little guys pain...he's my buddy.

Sometimes I feel that the vet is trying to milk some more money out of me by doing things like telling me that he's keeping the dog for observation and don't know when the dog will be allowed to leave his office and he's giving the dog saline for dehydration but my dog isn't sick or show any signs of distress, he was in the office for annual checkup and vaccinations. So can a vet legally force me to leave my dog for supposed rehydration for days on end?

and after one week she stopped eating her grain, though she would still eat hay. We had wormed her and we think it was because of the de-worming that she stopped eating. She is now eating okay again. But now yesterday she had one eye closed and today her eye is cloudy and she can't see out of it. We will be taking her to the vet tomorrow, but I was just curious to see if anyone had ever had this happen before? And do you think the blindness is permanent?

This is an 8 y/o, she just had a baby in Sept. that was taken off her (not by us).

Hey everyone, my cat has been sleeping on our balcony for years and has never tried to go off or anything(6th Floor) she just looks out and sleeps on the beds and stuff we set out for her. Anyway I'm going to be going on a trip tomorrow for 5 days to vegas. I'm wondering if I should leave the screen door open since she likes to go outside and sleep at night. I have no wiring or anything because I don't think it's permitted, but she hasn't seemed to need it at all anyway.

I would take a picture but I can't so at 14 seconds in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yradgcSzF8w that's what the railings and how the bars are like, we don't have any tables or anything out there so there's nothing for her to stand on.

Our neighbor will be checking on her several times a day while we're gone for 5 days, should I leave the screen door open so she can sleep outside?

(Any answers fast would be appreciated since I leave tomorrow!) Thanks everyone!

I adopted a kitten that does not have toes on the left foot. However, she can run and play and use the foot without problems (it looks like a little bunny foot). Does anyone know where I can find info on this type of birth defect? All I get in searches is about cats with 6 toes. thanks!

My precious little Italian Greyhound was torn in half by a speeding car six months ago. I buried him in my back yard.

I'm in the process of building a new home on a different property and want to take him with me so that he can be buried there with my home.

I don't know if I should do this myself. Seeing him so torn up made my heart hurt more than I ever thought possible. And now he's been wrapped up in his favorite blanket, buried for six months. Would you be able to emotionally do it? Should I ask someone else to move him for me? Sorry for such a sad question.

My cat licks herself constantly. I have taken her to the vet and he thinks it's dermatitis. She is losing her hair on her lower half because she is licking herself so much. I think I may need to get a second opinon because the meds he gave are not helping. He gave her a shot, that seemed to help at first, but now she's back at it again. They checked her for worms and fleas and found nothing. She's done this once before when I had new carpet in my house, but since had been fine. She's eaten the same cat food for years, so it couldn't be a food allergy all of a sudden could it? Please Help!!
