Sounds like your mean fish is almost alone now... If you cant take a picture of it you should try googling a description. Maybe google image search. Are there any fish it closely resembles? You need to SHOW people what you're talking about especially if you cant tell them.

You really shouldn't put a fish you don't know anything about into your tank. Chances are if it is eating/killing all these fish it will kill your goldfish too. I think you should take it out and put him in a 5 gallon bucket, take it to your local tropical fish store, not walmart or pets plus.... and ask them what kind of fish it is and what they can tell you about it, then depending on thier answer decide if you can even have the fish and what you will do about it from there... unless you can get a pic to post then I'm sure someone can identify it and tell you what it's living conditions and diet are.

Why would you purchase a fish that is an unknown quantity? Your "unknown" is probably just doing what a predatory fish does. How can you possibly care for any animal if you don't known it's specie and what it requires to live?
What you have done is cruel and unthinking.
Sure, put it in the goldfish tank, that will either kill some Goldfish or kill your unknown.

If possible can you take a picture of the unknown fish? Or atleast discribe him in good detail. If we can't determine what he is then I would recommend getting fish that are bigger then him and that are know to be aggressive.

Your fish is Probably a boy and just looking for a good mate but is you put boys together in a golfish bowl then they end up battling for the most space! Most end up deadly though Lol!
