Between cats and dogs which do you like better? Also, why do you think the animal you chose is better? Why is the other one worse?

Dogs. As a whole, I do not think Cats are as social or show as much affection 24/7. I mean, sure the purrr and want attention, but too independent for me. Never comes when called...only when food is put out or if you are in Their way.

I prefer dogs .. I don't see one as BETTER than the other.. growing up I was highly allergic to cats.. so, I didn't have one of my own.. I have had dogs around my whole life... I finally did live with cats when I moved in with a room mate, but it's not quite the same.. as soon as I felt financially able to get a dog.. I did.

I think I like dogs and cats equally.Now if you had asked if there were certain types of dogs that I liked more then I'd go with dogs completely.I find that certain dogs have too much energy or tend to have behavioral problems.However you can get a lot of benefits from dogs.Usually they're more willing to please such as cuddling up with you or learning to do their business outside when told to(yes,my dogs will usually go potty when commanded).I have to say though it's nice that cats can be litter-trained and therefore I don't have to remember to let it out.Also cats aren't as loud as some dogs can be and aren't quite as demanding.

What if my answer is both, equally? I have 3 cats, outdoors only, that were wild and I have tamed. I love dogs, but currently don't have one, so I guess you could say I love cats better. I like being greeted at the door by the cats and I like to hold them and pet them and play with them. (Same applies to dogs!)

I like cats better. Dogs are great too, but I have trouble with keeping them other control.

Dogs. They are more fun as pets...cats just want to be fed and sleep...they dont like much interaction with humans. I love dogs, because they are more loving and appreciative of the owner.

Dogs. there is no real reason for my preference at all. Dogs are just the animal (of the two choices) that I prefer to devote my time and energy to.

Dogs, I have no idea why, I just don't like cats, I think dogs are more fun and loyal, but that's just my opinion.
