while some were rude about it, you have to admit that you didn't give much info in your other q. without knowing if there are other symptoms or hearing when it happens with your cat, there simply wasn't enough info to really offer any advice other than "go to the vet." sorry if that was offensive, but people can't read minds and assume you'd be going to the dr already(although i do think they should at least be courteous about it when they suggest something). and some people here really do seem to need hearing that the vet is the only one who can diagnose the problem. it doesn't seem to occur to them that they need vet care when they ask something concerning animal health.

i hope your kitty is okay, she sounds like she's a pretty special cat. good luck.

Is this about the thyroid? How has her weight been? Granted, an older cat will likely lose some with age, but has she dropped a lot in a short time?

I believe a hyperactive thyroid can be managed in a cat. I lost one just shy of 18 to tyroid disease, but he was a MONSTER about taking meds! (I've never seen another cat with such an ability to resist taking a pill!)

Good luck with your girl! It sounds like you have a handle on the situation. I hope it works out for you both!

Well, maybe stating things a little more clearly would have helped. In the first question, you do not even seem to be asking a question. What are people going to say to that.
You were not even really asking for advice.

Hope the cat gets help.

You might want to put a bit more detail in your questions.

The fact remains that just about anything could be going on and the only one who can tell you for sure what is wrong with your cat is your vet.
