I was out with my dog & unbegnonist to me he found a stray cat - hes cat frendsly but obvously startled it - he had a scratch on his nose & I think his ear was bitten or scratched also ? I am taking him to the vet first thing tomorrow morning
- he yelps if any where near his ear is touched & he is shaking - i suspect infection ?
but he won't let me inspect it further - is there anything i can do to keep him comfortable till the morning when I'm taking him to the vet asap?? he is up to date on all his shots.

Try putting peroxide on the wound with a cotton ball to get any dirt or maybe infection out.
No, there isn't anything that you can do.

if he is acting like that I ould just wait until te vet appointment.
If you can it would be best to clean with peroxide and then leave it

Just bathe it in plain old salt water ,he will be fine
