take her to the vets anyway shes due for some vaccines and just a check up.
my new puppy wouldnt eat at first either, i microwave the dry food it makes it smell better , then i mix 1tbsp of 100% canned pumpkin in her food and a little water. shes spoiled:)
Dont get too scared though. offer her a treat and see if she'll eat that, if she does then you know she isn't sick probably but just adjusting to everything new.

a cup is a lot of food for an 8 week old pup to eat.
that might be what she would eat full grown. I have a 40 pound golden mix and a 35 pound Standard poodle and they get at full grown 1 1/2 cups of food.
take her to the vets and have her checked. In most states in the USA there are lemon laws on pups but they need to see a vet in 7 days I believe. most say that if it's unfit for sale the breeder has to replace the pup, refund, or you can keep the pup and get up to the purchase price to cure. But they have to see a vet in 7 days and hten you have to notify the breeder and send tehm a COPY of the vet records stating what was found. ( if you do this I strongly suggest sending certified mail) Also if unfit for sale notify the breeder immediately.
I would get her tot eh vets just as soon as possible.

okay... im having a hard time understanding if the puppy is eating or not? If the puppy isn't eating then yes that is not normal, and you would need to schedule an app. or go to an animal hospital to find the prob. But if its just a little less then I wouldn't worry quite yet. If any other syptoms come up make sure you see medical attention quick!

How many times a day do you feed her? Young pups should be fed about 3 times a day. Or leave the food out where she can eat when she wants. As long as she is eating, she should be fine. I am sure her appetite will pick up.

Is she not eating at all? Or just eating very little here and there? I know lots of times you may have to sit down with the puppy while it eats, but if it hasn't eaten anything for 5 days, that's not good. Take her to the vet and watch out for anything unusual about her. It's not healthy for a growing puppy to not eat. They can become hypoglycemic.

Your puppy will be fine. Any time I got a puppy around that age, it takes from a couple days to a week. Always make sure to hold it, to it can start to trust you. When it trusts you more, it will begin to eat the food you give it.

not sure if your feeding dry food? If so add a little warm water it makes the food smell stronger and may encourage pup to eat. Try not to worry my pup hardly ate when he 1st came home. You can also add a small amount of moist food to dry if your concerned not to much though as my cause diarrhea. Good luck hugs and kisses to little pup.
