What kind of food are you feeding? A quality food does wonders for the coat. Canidae, Wellness, Innova, Natures Variety, Natural Balance, and Chicken Soup are all really great foods to enhance the coat. If you are already feeding a quality food (ie no corn, by-products, animal digest, artificial coloring) then you might want to look into a supplement for skin and coat. California Natural makes a really superb one, as does Wellness. Also don't go bath crazy this will rob her skin of natural oils that she needs, and will make her skin dry and itchy.

Bulldogs shed a decent amount to begin with, but the big question is what is your dog eating? Switching foods can do wonders for shedding issues, even with supplements if the food itself isn't that great, it won't help all that much.
If you do decide to switch foods just be aware it can take a while to see any obvious signs of change.

Omg I have an English Bulldog as well her name's Chloe ;p
Yeah I had the same prob with her. You have to brush you dog often with a shedding brush or what ever you call it. And just brush them everyday. Atleast it's better than sweeping the hair in your house. English Bulldogs age fast so thats why they shed alot. P.s how old is your dog mines 2.
Much Luv & 2 Much Hugs,

Try different food to see if he's allergic.
I noticed that whenever I fed my dog IAMS dog treats (the multi-coloured cookies in a box) she'd shed like crazy for a couple of days. I don't know what it was - the corn, or an additive of some kind.
Food sensitivities are frequent culprits in pet skin and coat problems.

I just talked to the vet today about a dog that I just adopted from my neighbor. The VET SAID TO NOT FEED DOGS MILK OR EGGS AS ALL DOGS ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT AND THAT WILL CAUSE THE RUNS!!!!!!
As far as the shedding, take the dog to the vet. You might be bathing it too much which is bad for a dog. They have oils in their hair that are good for them and frequent bathing takes away these oils.
Good luck
I know that the constant shedding is annoying because I have German Shepherds and they are champion shedders. By the way - I only bath my dogs when they really start to stink which is about 2 times a year maybe 3 times a year if they get into something really, really NASTY!!!!!!!

Feeding a good quality food free of corn, wheat, soy & by products and keeping him brushed once daily wil lgo a long ways in helping with the shedding.

Ok there is a dog product called: Lipredurm (Lip-re-derm). you put in your dogs food (a tble spoon full) and you mix it in and it controls the sheeding to a point where only a little comes off! :) Try it, its great!
