I started feeding her peanutbutter in her kong yesturday, she was only fed a small amount. Her barf smelt like peanutbutter, very vibrant light brown with small kibble bits. I was wondering is it from the peanutbutter? If it is I won't feed it anymore.. it

Dogs do throw up from time to time for no real reason so I wouldn't worry to much...she may have a sensitive stomach to peanut butter so try it again tomorrow and if it happens again then you know for sure she does not handle pb well....a dog just throwing up once though is not cause for concern, if it was continuous then it would be a concern. My sisters border collie x cannot have chicken, he will throw up within a hour of eating it but he will still try to eat it when he can.

peanut butter is actually pretty rich food, very high in protein and fat. She is not used to eating it yet and that is why she barfed. Sometimes if you feed a dog something new it will barf. Sometimes people get sick from eating things they are not used to. I know I have. Your little doggie should be fine. Try giving her pea sized amounts once in a while to get her used to it.

The first time I gave my dog a little bit of pork roast, he got the poops. He had lots of different meat before like duck, lamb, beef, chicken, rabbit but never pork. He can eat it now though with out any problems.

It's hard to say I would think if it were the peanut butter it would have happened yesterday when seh first had it.
she may have just had a slight upset tummy.
My suggestion is stop the peanut butter for about 3 days and see if she vomits.
I would hten try the peanut butter and see what happens.
If it only happened the once it might just be a slight upset tummy.
I rally wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening. I really think it's just one of those things that just happened.

Some dogs are highly allergic to peanuts.
Do not give it to her.
My friends pug ate a peanut and her face swelled so bad that her eyes closed shut.

There's a chance it could be a lot of things.

Has she had her shots?

Exposed to backyard/other dogs?

Take her to the vet, and see what's up before it's too late!
