Hi guys, following on from my last question, can anyone recommend a good dog groomer in London? I live in Brockley SE4 but can travel reasonable distance. There's one in Peckham called Dog about Town but don't know anything about it. Any ideas? Thanks

With the hot weather and the air conditioner running, the water level in my 20 gallon tank is evaporating. How long should I let the pitcher of water sit before adding it to tank ? I did add the chemicals to it.

i have a wisper filter in my five gallon mini bow with a recently purchased betta (to add onto my collection of 4) and 2 otto cats. how do i restrict the flow of my filter, right now i have two fake plants on the rampie-thighingy and its working but its not so pretty. oh and i dont want any air-heads saying my betta will kill my otto cats beacuse he acctuallly like them, funny story actually he likes to nuge them with his nose while the attached to the glass so they dart around!!

ive had my cat for abour 8 years and she never drooled before but all of a sudden she started to and its constant my other cat slobers but not drools is it normal for her to drool or is she sick

I have a 2.5 gallon fish tank and 3 very small fish that won't get much larger. I have a filter, gravel, and 2 small plants in there. It's all brand new so I havent put my fish in the new tank yet. It says the filter should operate 24 hours prior to putting the fish in the tank. How often should I clean it once my fish are in there?

I think my cat has worms and I got a dewormer called drontal at the vets I tried putting it in some food and it seems like she is eating around it any idea how to give it to her thru food cause she will not let me put it down her throat...also advantage she seems to run and hide when I attempt to put it on her any suggestions on how to make sure I get it all on her?

I picked up a used aquarium and it included what I was told was gravel, when I bleached and boiled the rocks though it turns out it wasn't gravel at all but charcoal, is this done for some special reason in a freshwater tank or were they making a mistake with it's use? I've always used regular gravel myself and have never heard of using anything else.

I took my dog to the vet because her stomach was really hard...the vet said that she was in false pregnancy and he said that she will act weird and take toys and pretend they were her puppies...but she is acting normal except she is lazier..is this really false pregnancy..what can i do??

i have a pair of german blue rams and i am trying to get them to breed, do they prefer live plants or are plastic plants going to be enough? i also read that they like a cave to be able to breed in is this true? i have some more jagged rocks in the tank should i get more smooth rocks or does that not matter? thank you.

so far, i understand this. Jack russells:
- dont do well in small houses, apartments or flats as they need room to exercise
- they can be aggressive and defensive against other dogs
- although loyal, they will run off if they spot a small animal running despite your calls
- they will dig under fences if left unsupervised
- if left alone in the house, they can destroy the whole house in search of you
these are some of the things i know

my jack russell is NOT like this at all. he never runs around the whole place going made though he does get excited when welcome home. he copes fine in our small flat and loves being near us.
after being desexed, he has done much better in training and has improved his habit of always marking trees. he loves other dogs and has not and will not do anything to hurt them. he is very friendly, not defensive and always up for a game when i feel like it.
he doesnt have a bad attitude and is always happy everyday, literally! he actually never has bad day!

I was getting into the van not knowing that my kitten was following mr and I closed the door. His head got stuck and when I looked down to see what it was i saw my poor baby fliiping and bleeding like crazy. I cried and cried for along time and still dont feel better about it.

How do I make myself feel better about this whole thing?

my cat is 21 years old,he is in good health generally but has started going to the toilet everywhere.Luckily he spends most of his life asleep in the garden, but leaves really stinky little poos all over the place,they are hard to clear up because they are so squidgy and gloopy,they also stink the whole garden out!
In addition he is constantly hungry, meowing outside at 4 in the morning,but will only eat those little foil packets of food.
what to do? he has been wwith me for a long time ,out lived a brother cat ,two dogs, one marriage and is the only pet to my three young children under 7.

Anybody else had a similar problem,how did you solve it

It states in the profile for the Leaf Fish on Pet Solutions-"The best environment for the Leaf Fish is a well planted 20 gallon tank with live rock present." It is freshwater, too!! Freshwater live rock-I've also heard about it with those aquababy things. Please answer??
