I wouldn't suggest it, that 2 gallon is a great tank for a betta, but not enough space for anything else in addition to the betta.

I also have a Betta in a 2 gallon tank. I was thinking about adding another fish but decide not to crowd the Betta. so I put a snail Good Luck with what you decide to do

Really any other fish that are the same size or bigger. But you have to watch it because the Betta my attack still. The only fish you shouldn't put in a another male Betta.

you cant really put anything else in there without going over your bio-load. if you had a bigger tank say a five gallon you could keep 1-2 otto cats (ottocinclus), 1-5 ghost shrimp, 1 african dwarf frog, or even a couple white cloud minnows. if you dont wanna upgrade you could put maybe 1-2 ghost shrimp in there but thats pushing it.

Sorry to say, your tank is too small for more fish. If you want other things there, try some crustaceans and some live plants.

A bigger fish is the best companion for your tank...

Never put another male betta in the tank with a male betta
