Hamsters!! I am compleatly in love with them they are so cute for a rat type species. I mean you can get them petstore. And they arent that expensive!

hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits. the animal itself doesn't cost much, but the cage and everything you need for the animal can cost a bit. try to get a used cage, water bottle, and food dish. once you get everything set up, you only have to buy food once a month or so.

teddy bear hamster, very small, 7 quid at the pet store here (5 us dollars in the states). friendly little buggers
