does any one else have a barmy yorkie? Our female dogs party trick is weeing . bearing in mind that most females will squat she not only squats but also cocks one leg like a male dog and also stands on her two front legs like an acrobat is this normal?
Does anyone else have a pet with crazy antics?

Its 3 am, the poor things hair is so matted I can't tell if its male or female, but its so sweet. I want to help it, but I dont want to hurt it. He'll be going to the vet on pay day, and the groomer too, anybody know what a safe amount would be for this poor thing?

Hello,
I have a 40 gallon tank. I have 2 dragon fish (violet goby and another type of dragon), 1 african dwarf frog, 3 snails, a pleco, some ghost shrimp, and a small angel fish. I'm going to take the angel fish out once it gets bigger and put it in it's own tank. I don't want it eating my other fish! I was wondering, what freshwater tankmates can I put in my tank? I'd like some more bottom dwellers as well as a "main fish" Such as an angel fish but smaller, something interesting to look at. I'd also like to add an eel. Any other suggestions?
Also, do you know any other types of dragonfish? This other one I have likes to swim on the top rather than the bottom like the dragon goby. It has two little, short, tube-like things on its nose.

I am moving from Boston-Chicago and i need to drive my stuff there, including my cat, who goes berzerk when he is in the cat carrier, he meows non-stop and he absolutely hates it, and after about 5 minutes, he becomes intolerable. Should i sedate him? How would i do that? Has anyone had to do this before? This dillema is starting to concern me, and know one i know has any idea what to do! Help me!

My 4 y/o Boston is going to be undergoing surgery to remove a broken tooth soon, and I am scared to death. She has been under anesthesia twice before and has been fine, but now we are at a new clinic, which is adding to my nervousness. I have a list of questions that I am going to ask the vet (about the type of anesthesia/monitoring) but I know no matter what I will still feel nervous. She is otherwise a very healthy dog and if something happens to her I don't know if I'll be able to forgive myself. I guess I just need reassurance that I am doing the right thing. The pulp of the tooth is exposed so it really does need a root canal or extraction to prevent infection and pain.

I have an 8 year old cat that I have always fed wet and dry food to. I only feed her organic cat food with no by products in it. Because of the recent pet food recalls I stopped feeding her wet food as the options seemed so limited of which food was safe and am now only feeding her organic dry food. She seems content with only the dry but I am wondering if she was getting more nutrients by eating both or if it is OK to just keep her on the diet of only dry?

I already have 3 other dogs and they're all small. I like to name my dogs after designers and so far, I have a mini poodle named Donatella Versace, a Jack Rusell Terrier named Marc Jacobs, and a Yorkie named Christian Dior. I bought a baby pug with regular coloring and it's a girl. I can't decide between Kate Spade and Coco Chanel. Which suits a pug better? Oh and if you want to match her temperament, shes very sweet and a bit shy.

I bought a shark he is approx . 4 inches his name is jaws.

I have a female cat and male cat. We had our appointment in 2 days for the spay/neuter. My male cat is only 4 months old. He decided to mate with his MOM!!! I do not want this pregnancy to carry out. If i take her in for her appointment and get her spayed, will that terminate a pregnancy if she even is pregnant???? NO STUPID ANSWERS

My 5 year old golden retriever is chewing up my kids' toys at an alarming rate. This has been constant since they were little. My dog has plenty of appropriate toys of her own. If they happen to leave their toys on the floor, she will snatch it up. She also will go into their rooms to find things to chew. Help!
