i have a wisper filter in my five gallon mini bow with a recently purchased betta (to add onto my collection of 4) and 2 otto cats. how do i restrict the flow of my filter, right now i have two fake plants on the rampie-thighingy and its working but its not so pretty. oh and i dont want any air-heads saying my betta will kill my otto cats beacuse he acctuallly like them, funny story actually he likes to nuge them with his nose while the attached to the glass so they dart around!!

Whispers have an adjustment knob on the top on the intake pipe. You can turn the flow down as far as you want using that.

You could get a very porous sponge, cut a thin slit in the middle, stick it over the end of the intake, and use a rubber band to hold it in place. You will need to rinse the sponge every 10 days or so.

If it doesn't have an adjustment flow you can stuff the filter with filter batting (the fine white foam stuff they sell in bags) and this will help clog it (and provides excellent filtration too).
