Please tell me how to rid my dog from ticks and keep my house tick/flea free??

I have a 1 yr old beagle who snores. she used to sleep in the same room with me but it was so loud that i have to put her in another room at night which she hates. any suggestions for stopping or lessening her snoring?

I have heard some species poop alot and everywhere. will it poop often and will it poop on me? i have a carpeted room. Do you recommend any good natured, neat birds. I am open to many options! Please post any good bird websites!

i have located a wonderful guinea pig off of petfinder.com. the family that had it before was allergic to it. plus its already tamed, has been handled, etc. it prefers to live alone too. thats good because cavies are very social and i want one that will bond toward me more than its partner. just wondering what you guys thought.

My one dog has a rash on his belly and the other one on her back near her tail, on her belly and down her legs. When they clean themselves in those areas they are both whimpering!!!! And they are constantly at it, trying to clean it ect!!

The person next door from where it happened had herad the baby cry for over an hour. The parents were stoned and laying right next to the child the puppy was under fed and looking to nurse, should not have been away from the mother dog. If the puppy had been any thing but a pit bull people would be saying it was all the parents. fault. The only ones that diid any thing wrong were the two irresponable parents. A six week old baby and a six week old puppy have no idea right from wrong.

I have a 55 gallon tank that has been cycling for 2 days and I want to put my blue channel catfish in there. The problem is that the tank has none of the bacteria necessary to break down ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. If I put my catfish in there now, he might overload the system with too much ammonia, and no way to get rid of it. He's already quite sick, and I don't want to weaken him further by exposing him to higher levels of poisons than he already has in his tank.

I have a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix. She turned a year old at the end of November. I just recently got her hair shaved because she became matted on her legs. Ever since we got back from the groomers she's been acting funny. Now when I tell her not to do something or try and take something out of her mouth she's starting to show her teeth and even bite me. She did it the first time Monday when I scolded her for taking food from my niece and tried to take it out of her mouth and today when I told her to get off the couch and went to grab her. I'm not sure where this sudden anger is coming from. Is it something I'm doing wrong or is this sudden haircut affecting her mood swings.

Am getting a German Sherpherd Puppy tomorow, and i was wondering any got any ways i could teach it tricks, but i know how to care for it, i want to make it a nice dog, so what should, just to tell you ive had a these dog breeds: german sherpherd, Rottweiler Mix Wit doberman Plus 9 rott mixed puppys, i had to take care of all them, then gave them away , ive had a pitbull Mix and Some other Multi Mix dog. So i have exeperience wit animals, i want to teach it Tricks, Not barking at people outside, Not bitting people, just want a good dog, so it can get along wit the rottweiler that am gonna get later, And any know specific dog foods, that help em grow healthy, and active dog

My puppy keeps eating weeds and puts several stones in her mouth. Sometimes she goes for hours without spitting them out.
Is it unhealthy for her to eat weeds? I can't stop her because my parents keep leaving her out in the garden and there are so many weeds in the garden that she eats any little scraps she can find. I get really concerned when she starts to do choking movements and almost vomits after eating a lot of weeds, leaves, and sticks. Please help?
