The person next door from where it happened had herad the baby cry for over an hour. The parents were stoned and laying right next to the child the puppy was under fed and looking to nurse, should not have been away from the mother dog. If the puppy had been any thing but a pit bull people would be saying it was all the parents. fault. The only ones that diid any thing wrong were the two irresponable parents. A six week old baby and a six week old puppy have no idea right from wrong.

Good observation! It never ceases to amaze me that you need a "License" to drive a car, but no rules to bring a life into this world! Some people should be given a "Placement test" to reproduce!!!

a pit bull can't even chew it's food without a tv camera in it's face anymore. and what's worse is the puppy didn't even look like an actual pit, but anything that bites is now automatically a pitbull. nevermind the mean litle chihuahua's of the world, or the untrained labs and golden's that attack people. because it's all the dog's fault right? the parents should be locked away without food and hungry tigers next to them, with their feet covered with meet. then the person watching them should be "stoned, asleep" oooops sorry did that hurt? the puppy and the baby should both be placed up for adoption. what a sick world we live in.

That is outrageous!! One of my best friends owns a pit... and she's just about the sweetest thing ever!! Those parents should be locked up and that poor puppy adopted by responsible pet owners. The very fact that the parents were stoned should have put the blame right on them!!!

Agreed. The parents didn't respond at all to the crying! The puppy was just following instincts, it wasn't his fault. I heard though that lots of people want to adopt the pup, that's a sign.

I think they should put the parents to sleep, not the pit puppy. It is not the puppy's fault.

i want to know why the baby wasn't in a crib where the puppy wouldn't have been able to get to it. It's definitely the parent's fault but why blame them when you can blame a puppy.
