I have a 15 gallon tank,in it are 8 glowlights and 13 neons.
The were living peacefully as they should because glowlights and neons are tetras and have a peaceful temperament but i suddenly see my small glowlight with a broken fin chasing the others that are schooling together.
This is my first problem by far.
My glowlights and neons are schooling together except my small glowlight with a broken fin.
How can i fix this?
I dont want to buy a seperate tank because i already have two, this one and another one with a flower horn that has a very aggresive nature.
Oh,the small glowlight,it occupies half, and i mean half the tank.

Which do you prefer as a pet? I'm a mutt guy. The only purebred I'd get is a rescue from the pound.

Seems very stupid to me, a waste of money. If you want a mutt you should go to the pound and rescue one. Just my opinion but seems the most reasonable.

"An animal experiment cannot be justifiable unless the experiment is so important that the use of a brain-damaged human would be justifiable."
-Peter Singer, Animal Liberation: A New Ethic for Our Treatment of Animals, 2nd. edition, 1990

This statement was made, I'm sure, with the thought they do not do experiment on humans. I know this is not true. Here is a story about a baby born in 1966. She had a heart defect that up to this time all childern died from. Her doctor experiment on her. Tried for 5 years to help her she went through hell. But she made it. her going through that hell made it possable for many to live. The work they did on her lead to them be able to replace values in the human heart. This child gre up and had childern and died this year, her doctor said her death had a lot to do with what she went through. I'm alive because of her, I had to have a value replaced in my heart.

We have a poodle and that little guy sure has learned our habits and does things to let us know he knows as well. When it is time for me to have my cup of coffee in the morning he will bring one of his toys so we can play after I wake. Then he goes and gets one of my shoes so he can go for his walk. It just goes on like that all the time.

I have four baby cockatiels. The oldest one is 6 days old, the second and the third one is about 5 days old and the last one is about 3 days old. The chicks are doing fine and they are being fed by their parents. But, the babies yellow feathers are not fluffy. Instead, they are kind of rough and kind of stuck to the chick. I have been giving them cooked rice. Do you know why their "suppose to-be" fluffy feather not so fluffy?

I have a ten gallon heated fresh water tank and feed flake food. I have 1 betta and six neon tetra. These are doing fine. But I can't keep my ghost shrimp alive. They keep dying on me. Do they need any special care I don't know about?

cause like everysingle night like around 2am to 5am this cat keeps on coming by for some food. it stares inside and gets my cats all excited yet nervous at the same time and i do admit somtimes i feed her (i think its a girl cause she has a gentle voice) and after she eats the food i give her she still lays by the door and/or stares inside my cats stare right back at her. my boy actually meows alot when he sees her as if hes saying someones there. why dose she stay by us. also i think she belongs to my next door neighbor cause i think ive seen this same cat in their window during the day but only during the day not at night. do some people let there cats out at night? also should i keep on feeding her? my cats are indoor cats 100% of the time. could they be jealous?

She is a 10 yr old cat who has never had a problems before. She knows exactly where her litter tray is and always uses it properly. I just can't understand why she would do this. I actually saw it happen and couldn't believe my eyes!!! Any ideas as to why she would do this as i am a bit concerned?

Two days ago, my cocker spaniel ate most of a small aluminum bread pan--the disposable kind you can buy in the supermarket. The pieces I picked up when I discovered what he'd done were sharp, so I called the vet (right before closing), who recommended just keeping an eye on him for nausea, diarrhea, etc. The next morning I brought the dog and he showed no discomfort, but the vet put him on an antibiotic (esp. for gastric problems) just in case. It's been 48 hours, and the dog's still happy and eating and drinking, and when we go for a walk, his poo is fine (yep; I examine it!) ... if he's passed the aluminum, it must have been in the back yard when he was out on his own, and not on a walk.

However, I'm still very anxious. At what point can I draw a sigh of relief? Thank you!

My sister has two cats. The mother that has given birth three times in the last 2 years(she is getting her fixed in January) she is a good mommy but she just had a litter of 4(normal for her) they will be alomst 5 weeks old on Christmas Day. One died 2 days after birth and one of them now is losing weight, she is still feeding off of the mom, but the other 2 kittens are starting to eat soft food. She has been throwing up (it is white and runny). I told my sister to take it to the vet she won't have the money till in January, however I don't want to see anything bad happen to the kitten. My sister won't let me take it to the vet, is there anything I can do to help the kitten. I have already called animal control since she wouldn't let me take it to the vet. What else can I do?

Thanks for all the answers. They are in a 2ft tank and are about 1cm in length. Their pH level is between 6.8 & 7.2. The filter has been running for a week. I have not checked nitro levels though...how do i do that? I just looked at them and one is beginning to swim around but the other is still floating on a slight lean.

We have 2 bunnies, 1 male, 1 female and I noticed the male nibbling on the female. Whilst cuddling with the female one today, I noticed she has several near-bald spots of really short fur. Is this natural?
