my dog gave birth yesterday and she wont lay out far enough for all of her pups to eat is this okay? how can i help her to lay out far enough? should i maybe start bottle feeeding occasionally to make sure they are fed enough?

my dog gave birth to her first litter yesterday and on her second pup while i was out of the room she gave birth to another pup and neglected to get the sack off because her first was crying? i later found it that night becasue she kept going back into that room and under the bed. i found it still in the sack filled with liquid. why did she do this, it has me confused? was it becasue she was confused with her first litter? or because she didn't want it?

i think it is really cruel. how would you liek it if you where belted in the side with metal spikes?! i don't even like to kick horses on to make them move!
just treat them with a bit of respect and they will work better than they ever would with spurs being used on them!
i think that people who use spurs on their horses have no heart, and no respect for them. they don't even try to be nice, just on wioth the spurs.
if you use spurs on your horse then could you please just try to be kind rather than cruel, and maybe your horse would be more willing to work for you!

My 10 month old kitty has an upper respiratory infection (virus) and the Vet gave her a shot for her congestion and a antiobotic shot, yesterday. Today, my kitty is congested again! what can I do to help her breath easier.

We got her at 4 months old and she doesnt seem to be very well socialised. Can anyone give me advise on how to help her stop being nervous in most situations (she reacts with aggression).she will not let us put her coat on to take her for walks, wont go in the car, etc

my 12 mth old great dane has red blister type spots (crusted over)around his neck & pads of his feet...i have taken him to the vet & paid over £90 for ringworm treatment that had no impact whatsoever...i have just posted this question but 'answers' has put it in the wrong category...it has put it into skin disease/conditions...i went into greater detail with the other so if you feel you can give me some good advice please read my other question..any advice would be gratefully recieved

He lives with his two brothers and his mother. They all seem to be fine eating everything. I'm assuming the vet is where it's at unless someone knows of a possible remedy fo a poison plant which may be the problem.Giving him pedialyte,tuna juice, different foods to try and nothing,really sucks to see him like this

I left my 7 week old staffie alone once, whilst i went to work, my girlfriend even looked after the dog at lunch time for half an hour or so.

When i got home my neighbours complained that the dog was crying and did not sound happy, when i checked on the dog it had done a dirty protest!.

My dog is from a large family with mother and 9 puppies in total, my dog cries as soon as i leave it alone to go shops/toilet, etc

At the moment i take the dog to either my brothers house or my sisters house at 8-9am too 5-6pm who play with the dog whilst im at work but she sleeps most of time.

I was told by the breeder that the dog will be ok alone, or at least once its 10-12weeks old, after vacinactions and a good run around before i leave the house.
